Main duties: I work with students one to one outside the classroom to help develop
underpinning skills, and overcome barriers to learning. I also support students with Literacy
& Numeracy needs, mental health issues, Asperger’s, dyslexia, medical conditions.

I completed a work experience placement with BBC Knowledge and Learning, Religion &
Ethics, Media City UK, Salford. I worked on iWonder guides, researching and developing
ideas.

Additional Information or Achievements
I mentor and organize charity projects with young people. I support St Anne’s Hospice,
and appeals. Further to completing a Work Experience Placement in August 2014 with BBC
Knowledge & Learning, Religion & Ethics, I gained experience as a researcher and writer
on the iWonder Guides. I have assisted with the BBC World War One at Home event in
Manchester where I worked in the Records Office. I am a writer and contributor to the
Friends of The Chalet School book club magazine. I have recently completed a Future
Learn course, Introduction to Journalism – University of Strathclyde. I speak French & Italian
and spent several months at The University of Bologna, Italy.
