Career Background
Having worked for a period of 25 years in the mining and explosives industries, I have a very
solid grounding in what is required in terms of safety, health and the environment. I am
accountable for the safety of myself and of every employee I work with. I strongly believe in the
values of safety, health and environment and have not been involved in any incident throughout
my career.
I have been in a Management position for numerous of years and I believe that I am a strong
leader who has the ability to manage people and projects successfully to reach specific goals and
targets. With a solid background in the mining and explosives industry, I have managed projects
successfully. I have the ability to lead people positively and encourage them to work hard and
safe. I believe in the care and growth of every person, no one is born “stupid” any person can
learn if he gets the correct leadership and opportunities.
I started my mining career as a Learner Miner underground (at the bottom) and have learned by
having confidence in myself, courage to stand for what is right and care for all people around
you, that anything is possible.
