HOKCHI Energy is a subsidiary of Pan American Energy, it is the first company to
drill offshore after Mexico’s Energy Reform and this came to be from the Round One
Auction. The HOKCHI Project started drilling on October with well’s HOKCHI 2DEL
and 3DEL on same location. HOKCHI 4DEL, 5DEL and 6DEL where drilled about three
miles away from the firsts wells, this is within the same block.

2. ACTIVITIES OFFSHORE
Plan, coordinate, supervise, organize, and control activities required for the logistic of
materials and equipment for the drilling operations.
Coordination of drilling materials as well as bulks with the onshore coordinator.
Attend conferences, discussion or meetings in regards to vessel coordination, support
Co-man with his look ahead drilling program.
Ensure active participation in compulsory daily drilling morning conference with on
shore base (8-9am) to obtain information on logistical requirements mainly on
personnel/material mobilization to/from the rig.
Good communication with service providers regarding tools and materials to ensure
the continuity of the drilling operations.
Distribute 5-day operation look ahead, boat summary report and boat schedule to
relevant parties every morning in objective to share the current and forward plan of
operations and anticipate the next logistical-related activities.
Ensure timely issuance of Material Request (MR) by the Cosl’s onshore logistics based
in Dos Bocas API yard this as per look ahead drilling program and equipment list for
smooth planning and execution of equipment preparation.
Maintain NPT (Non Productive Time) down to 0% on logistics, keeping up with
weather conditions and port status that might affect the drilling operations.
Communicate and always remind all personnel involved with the operations to
comply with company’s equipment mobilization procedures and guidelines
established by HSE such as cargo handling, lifting unit inspection, explosives and
radioactive material declaration

In charge of managing, supervising, controlling maintenance and administration of
materials.
Receipt, issuing of material and inventories using the Software SAP Materials
Management. A board jack up Rigs Noble Bill Jennings/Paragon M841 and M842.
Conduct regular inventories; assign store location, tagging of Materials using the same
software. Control and creation of purchase requisition with national and international
vendors, keep up a good stock of spare parts using the materials history and
establishing a minimum and maximum stock levels.
Filing out of hazardous waste manifests and contaminants, material transfers between
storeroom aboard and main warehouse in land. Follow up on the local and non-local
purchase reqs to ensure materials are to be delivered on time. Control of the logistics
of shipments coming and leaving the rig.

3. Have a good control of all critical parts and consumables in order to continue with
day-to-day operations. Trainer and mentor of newly appointed team members. Was
part of an inventory team made up of senior Matco’s to up-date inventories on rigs
getting new contracts.
Participated in the DuPont STOP program and all training required by our Company.

Position: Offshore Interpreter
Translating all Drilling Operation between Noble Rig Manager and Pemex
Superintendent.
Relaying orders from the Rig Manager to Maintenance national crew and ensure
proper permits where used as well as proper JSA’s (Job Safety Analysis).
Generate diesel reports, activity reports, maintenance reports for contractual and
audit purposes.
Assist Rig Manager in all major events such as fire drills, abandon of rig, man down
and man over board.
In well Control, situations assist Rig Manager and Pemex Superintendent in control
house for communication purposes.
Participate in the DuPont STOP program and all training required by our company.

Position: Offshore Interpreter
On multi-cultural Seismic Vessels such as M/V Western Neptune, M/V Western
Geco Diamond, M/V Geco Triton, Geco Pegasus and Tampico Star 11.
Maintain radio contact with all local marine traffic in the work area or in transit.
Alert local marine traffic of the seismic operations and provide alternate routes do to
the cables on tow.
Assist captain and officers on the bridge relaying orders to chase boats, plotting
vessels on the marine scanner and follow their trajectory, relaying positions of vessels
to the chase boats for any emergency.
Maintain an alert over watch on workboat launches.
Inform chase boats of workboats launches and re-route their position to a nearby
location next to them.
