Rowing Sports Ambassador – Keele University Sports Centre 2015-present
• Sports leader for indoor rowing sessions for other students. Responsibility for up to ten students. I aim to
engage them in a new sport as part of the Play4Fun program at Keele University. I also assist with research
into women in sport.
Event Staff – Flair Event Staffing & Management 2014-present
• Worked at various events across the UK. In particular the Tough Mudder series in summer months; I have
gained experience driving off-road in ATV vehicles, and bar experience, handling drinks and money and festival
barrier and fencing construction.
Medical Volunteer – Agape Kenya June 2013
• Volunteered in local and outreach clinics preforming diabetic and HIV screening along with general health
checks, and giving health advice to patients. I had to develop ways of communicating through a language
barrier and give out vital health advice to locals.
Outdoor Activity Leader – Share Discovery Centre July/August 2013
• Activity instructor for large groups of children for; mountain biking, archery, circus skills, dance, canoeing,
sailing and banana boating. I gained valuable leadership, management and negotiation skills with challenging
groups of young people.
Dog Walker & Staff – K9 Kennels & Cattery 2007-2011
• Part-time work at K9 Kennels as a dog walker and staff. I had to be organised and get the dogs walked in time
for customers arriving. Cleaning and grounds keeping was important for health and safety of animals and
involved some heavy manual labour.

Personal Interests
Health – I have always been interested in health and well-being of myself and others and find the national
campaigns to get the population healthy fascinating. I am keen to explore more about
Food – I adore cooking and finding new recipes. I enjoy nothing more than a day in the kitchen to cook and bake.
I am a huge fan of great coffee and some homemade biscotti. I enjoy using alternative ingredients and use my
interest in health to base my cooking foundations.
Travel – I hugely enjoy travelling and have visited various parts of the United Kingdom, Europe and USA. I
