Central News News Manager(February 2015 – October 2016) In this role I have had the responsibility of managing a team of people and ar- ranging the daily distribution of newspapers to more than 500 locations in the South of England. My responsibilities have included logistics, finances, the sourcing and creation of new accounts as well as the maintenance of the staff rota and the handling of customer queries. Kaplan Teacher (June - September 2014) In this role I taught English to speakers of foreign languages from beginners to advanced. I was responsible for submitting regular assessments of each student and delivering weekly feedback. I also took students out of the class for trips and extra learning activities to ensure that they were constantly immersed in the language and culture. Shout Out U.K. Volunteer Writer (February 2014 – Present) In this role I have worked as an investigative journalist as well as an art critic and remained for several weeks in the listings of most read articles. Centenary News Volunteer Writer (December 2013 – Present) In this role I have written about the impact of literature during and after the Fir- st World War. My article on poetry and memory was read and shared by a num- ber of leading academics worldwide and also by the Wilfred Owen society. Private English Language Tutor Omron Private Language Tutor (June 2012 – September 2013) Whilst at Omron I worked on a one-to-one basis with a Japanese Software con- sultant in order to better develop his English language abilities. The topics cen- tred around the development of Business English whilst also drawing on current events. Westbourne Academy English Teacher (June-September 2011 and May 2012- May 2013) At Westbourne Academy I taught all levels of English language learners from beginner groups to advanced. Alongside this I also taught exam classes which

In certain cases lessons needed to be tailored to suit specific needs and desires of the students and in order to do this, I ensured that my planning remained flexible so as not to alienate anyone from the task at hand.
