I am a creative and enthusiastic teacher who enjoys the challenge of engaging young people in learning. I
aspire to overcome barriers to learning and build the confidence of students. My subject knowledge is
strong; my academic specialismis English Literature but I also teach English Language, KS3 Drama and
Literacy. Outside of school I work as a private tutor supporting students from KS2-5 to develop their cross-
curricular learning skills as well as assisting with exampreparation. I love to learn and am keen to develop
new skills wherever possible. I am a confident user of MS Office, SIMS, Prezi and other online tools. In my
leisure time I like to spend time with my daughter, read, make music, visit the cinema & theatre, draw and
write.
