Research on the Impacts of Forest Policies and Tourism on Jiuzhaigou Park, Sichuan, China 08-09/2015
 Led by Professor Thomas Hinckley and Professor Steven Harrell to survey the reforestation policy and human
elimination impaction of Jiuzhaigou National Park; concluded negative impacts of human activities elimination on
Jiuzhaigou Park
 Wrote a report and assisted in the preparation focused on the short- and long-term impacts on the Park of the
implementation of the National Policy on Reforestation of meadows to government department of Jiuzhaigou
National Park.
California Channel Island Project: Wild Lands Studies, CA, USA 06-07/2014
 Hike through Santa Cruz Island to learn native species, geology and environment; kayaked for 8 hours to explore
sea birds & sea lions’ habitats and human impact; did a documentary for the landscape of Santa Cruz Island
 Engaged in three-day Island Fox rescue project via counting the number, recording foxes’ body health and using
simple method to clean their wounds

Fuyang Environmental Protection Bureau, Hangzhou, China, Research Data Assistant 06-08/2014, 10/2015-7/2016
 Investigated the wastewater management situation of 12 different villages in and around Fuyang
