EMPLOYMENT HISTORY:
 Assistant Finance Manager - CitiScape LLC - UAE (September 2012—Till date)
Currently I am working as Assistant Finance Manager at CitiScape LLC, market leader in landscaping
projects in Middle East especially in UAE. I am directly reporting to Financial Controller, Group Finance
Manager and Group CFO. Some of the Key responsibilities include:
o Preparation of annual budget in consultation with the operations department
o Preparation of monthly and annual financial statement of the company
o Prepare different analytical reports for the management
o Responsible for reviewing and approving the general-ledger entries.
o Ensure the application of company’s accounting policies and local laws
o Ensure the application of applicable IFRS and IAS
o Keep abreast of new developments in IFRS, IAS and other applicable local laws
o Supervise the input of all financial data in financial accounting system
o Responsible for reviewing the inter-company, supplier and bank reconciliations
o Coordinating with external and internal auditors
o Additional tasks as required by management
 Supervisory Senior (June 2007—August 2012) - Grant Thornton (GT) Karachi office
During the tenure of my experience with GT, I worked at various levels and gained experience in
different departments including Audit, Risk and Advisory Services.
Key responsibilities included but not limited to:
o Supervise and review the work of audit staff

o Preparing and monitoring budgets to consistently achieve targeted revenue and profitability

I was involved in internal audit assignments of various organizations and ensured that internal
controls are functioning efficiently and effectively, capable to detect any mismanagement,
inefficiencies and fraud, internal records are accurate and are prepared in accordance with the
requirements of International Financial Reporting Standards and applicable regulatory and statutory
requirements.
I was also invovled on Due-diligence of the exploration site KUNRI on behalf of BGP (Pakistan)
International. This assignment included report on Market review, regulatory framework, corporate
review, financial accounting and reporting different cost elements i.e. exchange gain/loss and staff
welfare cost.
