experience. Possesses proven project management skills, leveraging leadership qualities, and analytical
problem-solving abilities to deliver technical projects to the highest professional standards. An energetic,
goal-driven engineer with a passion and aptitude for learning new skills, and commitment to take
ownership of personal and team performance.
Objective
Seeking a graduate Mechanical/Automotive Engineering position to utilise and expand existing skills and
experience. This would add value to the organisation and helping drive business growth and profitability.
Education and Qualifications
MEng: Mechanical Engineering (Achieved Merit)
2015, University of Brighton, United Kingdom
Key modules include: Operations Management; Computational Fluid Dynamics; Design for
Manufacture; Sustainable Automotive Power Technology; Automotive Control Systems;
Product Innovation & Management; Advanced Fluid Dynamics; Mathematics & Control;
Mechanical & Manufacturing Instrumentation & Testing; Computer Aided Engineering
Projects
Together with essential theory side of engineering, a big part of course consisted of practical assignments
MEng Mechanical Engineering: Company Project achieved merit
This was a group project, and my part was to do all the financial analysis
Topic: Further Development of Domestic PV Solar Energy Storage System
Aim: To further develop a domestic energy storage system
My objective: To determine the cost of developing the prototype and analyse the implications
My outcomes:
• Provided a detailed financial analysis including implications & benefits of a short payback period
• Developed communication, interpersonal and leadership skills through working in a group
BEng Mechanical Engineering: Individual Final Year Project achieved 1st
class mark
Topic: Computational Fluid Dynamics Modelling and Validation of In-Cylinder Processes in Internal
Combustion Engines
Aim: Analysis of rapid air filling process in a split-cycle internal combustion engine by CFD simulations.
Areas I covered in the project:
• Review of recent trends in Automotive Industry research
• Analysis of split-cycle engine concept and advantages of rapid air filling process
• Review and setup 2D and 3D CFD cases for parametric studies of in-cylinder filling process
• CFD simulation of air flow through the inlet duct for a realistic 3D geometry of cylinder head
with boundary conditions (a) inlet pressure (b) mass flow rate
• Plot Excels and analysed results for modelling and recommendations for further validation
Other Projects
• Designing, building and testing of a carburetor
• Building a robot and compete in a robot wars
• Sustainable Transport Solution for Brighton and Hove
