Due to immigration, poverty has increased. Americans are looking for work in 
higher paying jobs and immigrants are willing to take the job for less pay 
leaving the American family left in poverty. 
Programs that help with aiding being in or close to poverty are food stamps, 
WIC, and for school the National School Lunch Program.

countries. There is an estimate of 300,000 child soldiers around the world. 
Children are usually age 15-18 when going into combat but there is record of 
age 10 being recruited. 
Some children are forced to kill their own family or other children. 
According the UN Children’s Bill of Rights Section 2 Article 25: Children have 
the right to not participate in war.
