Gil Grissom and Sara Sidle from CSI were seen in a romantic encounter in the season finale, shocking viewers. This promises to be the most personal season of CSI yet as the producers explore how the toll of their jobs is wearing on the CSIs. They will show the characters reaching out to each other for support and also deal with their anger at the world, though the producers say they are not turning the show into a soap opera. All of the CSIs will face difficulties in one form or another in the upcoming season.
