• Goal of the paper is to estimate the association between narcissism and social media
use. This research is extremely important because evaluating the relationship
between rise in narcissism among young people due to excessive social media use
help us to figure out what specific social media behavior leads it for the same and
help us to educate young generation for it’s responsible use.
• Identifying the pattern of social media use and the behaviour pattern of user can help
us to determine the level of narcissism in user and help to spread the awareness
among the users regarding the potential side effects including mental health
disorders as per DSM.
• Out of many, one of the incidents which motivated me was-

3. Evaluation
• I will conduct survey model with potential set of questions and semi-structured interviews
for collecting and analyzing the data accompanied by thematic analysis.
• Then for next step, my plan is to collect personality data and Instagram page collection for
studying user behavior patterns for which we would again need to do some structured and
semi-structure interviews. Then based on data and my defined set of pattern, will analyze the
data.
• What sets this research apart is its focus on a period of significant neglect in the academic
study of social media, particularly after 2020. Notably, since 2018, there has been a
conspicuous absence of concrete research on Instagram, despite its emergence as the most
widely used social media platform globally. It is crucial to acknowledge that Instagram has
undergone considerable changes over the last six years(especially reels), significantly
influencing user behavior. This shift underscores the imperative for a new, comprehensive
study to provide fresh insights and understandings.
• Research on how narcissism affects mental health, particularly its link to rising DSM-5
disorder cases, is scarce. This gap highlights the urgent need for studies exploring narcissism's
impact on mental well-being.

First of all, we need to mentioned that this is not our original proposal. We intended to extend AFLGO at first. Because AFLGO is like the first project idea provided by the professor, combining fuzzing and invariant generation. And AFLGO has a lot of fork, so we think it may be easy to extend.
