FEAT for Children is hosting a boat cruise fundraising event called "Cruising for Kids" to support their Kids Mentorship Program for at-risk children affected by parental incarceration. There are over 20,000 children in the Greater Toronto Area who are left behind when a parent is incarcerated and often face challenges like poverty, mental health issues, and struggles at school. FEAT's mentorship program provides support, role models, activities, homework help, and meals for these vulnerable children. The boat cruise event will include a dinner, dance, and silent auction to help raise funds for the program. build brighter futures for at-risk children in our community
Fostering,Empowering, and Advocating Together (FEAT) for Childrenishosting Cruisingfor Kids, an exclusive
Boat Cruise, Dinner, Dance and Silent Auction on Friday, September 16th, 2016 in Toronto to support their
Kids Mentorship Program.
FEAT is a non-for-profit organization dedicated to providing supportive programming for children affected
by parental incarceration. In the Greater Toronto Area alone there are over 20 000 children who are left
behind. These innocent children often face poverty, mental health issues and struggle at school. However,
FEAT’s Mentorship Program is the only early intervention program in Ontario providing vital support and
positive role models for these at-risk children. Our program enablesopportunities for children to engage in
the sports and arts, receive help with homework from trained mentors and a nutritious meal, and learn
healthy coping strategies. In partnership with Ryerson University and Humber College, our program has
made a difference inthe livesof the forgotten children. Through your support, these vulnerable children can
have access to the help they need, rise above the obstacles they face and embrace a brighter future.
With our community's involvement,we can optimize the outcomes of these innocent victims, break the
cycle of intergenerational crime and strengthen our community.

The FranklinHorner Community Centre isproud to support FEAT’s Cruising for Kids,a fundraisingboat cruise,
dinner and silent auction event. Over 150 caring individuals, professionals and community leaders will be
attending the event and we would like your company to be a sponsor. With a donation of $1, 000, you will
receive a table of eight at Cruising for Kids event,table signage, company name on entrance sponsor board
and recognition on FEAT for Children’s website.
