VETERANS PLACE
TRANSITIONAL HOME FOR HOMELES VETERANS
ABOUT US
Veterans Place was founded by a group of veterans alarmed
about veterans homelessness in our area.
.
We want to offer our homeless veterans
tools for a new and productive life.
Our founders are veterans who have witnessed the needs
veterans have for a stable home environment.
Veterans Place
Mission
To help reduce homelessness among veterans
by providing transitional home and related
services in a diverse, familial and structured
environment emphasizing respect, security,
dignity and compassion
Where is Veterans Place located?

• 12 E. Fairview Avenue Montgomery Alabama 36105
Why do we need your help?
Veterans Place has been vandalized
twice due to the vacancy of the home.
We are working to bring the home to
code before the cold weather season
arrives. We want our veterans safe !!.
Unfortunately, this process requires
many funds and effort to open our
doors to homeless veterans. It’s taking
too long…
We are reaching out to YOU and
businesses in the community, to join us
and help us expedite this process.
How will Veterans Place help
veterans?
 Housing program – Offers housing up to 24 months while veterans are
completing work/school programs for self sufficiency.
 Food program- Food service program emphasizing nutritional choices
 Clothing – Provide initial clothing needs and allocate further needs
with community organizations.
 Living Skills- In house training to learn or reinforce those skills needed
to live independently.
