La desembocadura en el mar o gola del río Segura y su tramo final configuran un
espacio natural singular, debido a la entrada de agua del Mediterráneo así como
por la anchura del cauce y la vegetación existente.
The mouth in the sea or gola of the river Segura and its final stretch form a unique
natural space, due to the entry of water from the Mediterranean as well as the
width of the channel and the existing vegetation

Las salinas de Santa Pola comenzaron su actividad en el año 1890. Son el
resultado de la acción de los factores naturales y humanos sobre el terreno. Un
paraje de 2.500 hectáreas que fue declarado Parque Natural en 1994.
The salt flats of Santa Pola began their activity in 1890. They are the result of
the action of natural and human factors on the ground. A site of 2,500 hectares
that was declared a Natural Park in 1994

• Belmonte: Town of Castilla La Mancha belonging to the province of
Cuenca and characterized by its castle of the 15th century.
• El Toboso: Town of Castilla La Mancha belonging to the province of
Toledo and remarkable for its appearance in the novel Don Quixote and
its great history.
• Campo de Criptana: Town of Castilla La Mancha belonging to the
province of Ciudad Real and famous for its windmills, protagonists in the
novel Don Quixote.
