Many people have very poor hearing
in one ear. For years, they have

They can’t hear conversation from
the “bad” ear side. They always try
to position the person they are
having a conversation with on the
“good” ear side. Or they always
have to turn their head so the
“good” ear is toward the speaker.
When sirens sound or the phone
rings, they can’t tell where the sound is coming from.
