Production

Producer – They are responsible for creating the conditions of the film making. The
producer controls matters such as fund raising, hiring key personnel and the
arrangement of distributors, and is also involved in all parts of the film making
process.

Screen Writer – They pitch a script to producers or may write a script, they can also
be involved with creative parts of production.

Production Assistant – Assists in the production office or in other areas with
general tasks.

Directing

Director - They are responsible for the creative aspects of a film, this includes the
control of the film's plot, the actors performances, the location on which the film is
set, and a few technical things such as the positions of the cameras and the lighting
that should be used.

First Assistant Director - These assist the production manager and director. Their
aim is to ensure the film comes in on schedule and maintain the working environment
in which the director, actors and other crew members can concentrate on their work.

Second Assistant Director - These help carry out the tasks of the first assistant
director, they may also direct the background action and extras with helping the first
assistant director with the scheduling, booking and other things

Sound

Production Sound Mixer -They are head of the sound department and are
responsible for recording any sound during the film.

Boom Operator - These are responsible for the placement of the microphone and
movement during the filming. They have to get the best sound without getting the
microphone in the shot of the camera.

Camera

Director of Photography - They are the head of the camera and lighting crew of the
film, they make decisions on lighting and framing of scenes with the film's director.

Focus puller – They maintain image sharpness on whatever subject or action is
being filmed.
Clapper Loader – They load the raw film stock into camera magazines and maintain
all records and paperwork for the camera department. While also operating the
clapperboard at the start of each take.

Gaffer – These order the sparks to move the lighting.

Spark – These handle the electrical things as well as moving the lights where they
have been told to by the Gaffer.

Grip – They put in the non-electrical components of lighting that is needed, such as
flags, overheads and bounces.

Design

Production Designer – They are responsible for creating the visual appearance of
the film

Production Designer Assistant - assist in the production office or in various
departments with general tasks

Costume/Make up - They are responsible for all costumes used on screen, and any
additional make up to go with their costume.

Caterer- They are responsible for supplying food

Post-Production
Editor – They edit the films shots that have been made by putting them together in
the right order and add any other parts such as the sound effects or music, or even
effects to the film itself. This is done with the help of the director

Assistant Editor – They help the editor with their job and also watches the film to
label it's contents.

Continuity – These keep track of what has been filmed and make notes on things
that have been changed from the script.

Music

Composer – These create the soundtrack that will be used for the film.
