– In all stores, special care is taken to make sure that
the product is explicitly noticeable (sight or smell)
to all that pass by.
5. Customers
• Customer base is as expected. The kind of
store determines the population it serves.
– Coffee shop: the executive on the run and
freelancers holding meetings.
– Grocery store: All ages.
– Café: lunch time office-goers
6. Personnel
• In cafe’s, I get the feeling that personnel have
the feeling of ownership.
• In big stores, employees seem tired; they are
there just in for their 9-5
