I am or believe that I am taller than average and fitter than most. My feet are quite flat and
my hands strikingly small. I have the legs of a footballer but my arms are pouring out of
what must be an Italian T-shirt – thin, pale and spaghetti-like. – I can run like the wind
blows but somehow only after a ball.
And I am or believe I am drawn to exotic countries, a hopeless romantic, happy without
reason, an unhealthy chef on weekends, too active on Facebook, in touch with my softer
sides, tender of hand, despising advanced math, more vain than I like, full of trivia
knowledge, generous in love, a fan of Al Pacino, forever competing with my identical twin,
envious of those who play the sax, extremely curious, trusting my intuition but relying on
science, too rarely playing my guitar, stubborn as a mule, a living jukebox, keen on getting
details right, determined in sports, a lazy handyman, good at being alone but better at
having company, sleeping like a log, a listener of lyrics, an adrenalin-junkie, mesmerized
by fires, ironic of humor, having a mouth full of sweet teeth, loud in joy, disliking my nose, a
corny poet, polite as and Englishman but Danish to perpetuity, cocky if I’m nervous, a
notorious quibbler, melancholic in the wintertime, agnostic in faith, an admirer of poets and
painters, envious of few, addicted to fashion-shirts, crazy about the soundtrack to Drive, a
sucker for pinpointing quotes, valiant without necessity, always singing in the shower, loyal
to Tottenham Hotspur, having a craving for Greek food, passionate about teaching, full of
respect for Mandela, giving people the benefit of doubt, up to date on the gadget front, and
quite possibly in love with the slogan “I gave up bad coffee for good.”
