3. My 3 Simple Rules
Three Simple Rules that shape my business and my work
as a coach and facilitator:
1. I must have permission to coach you, so I begin with: “Is it OK if…(I
ask you a question)?”
2. I NEVER tell anyone anything. I help them discover for themselves.
3. Therefore, I ask questions. The right questions that are really Big Ones,
if you pay attention.
Don’t expect any case studies but one - and that is YOU.
YOU are the case study.

4. Is it OK if I ask you a question?
Why and How will you “show
up” today?
Why this work?
Why this profession?
Why this job?
Why this business?

and give ourselves a
“business edge”.

25. Road Kill
The problem is, we too often kill our hopes
with assumptions about “what is possible” . . .
. . . And what is not.

26. Road Kill
When we fixate on the obstacles to a goal before clarifying
the goal, we are letting one or a very few ASSUMPTIONS -
or the WRONG assumptions - determine our choices, our
actions, our future success.
It’s also true that if we jump to action steps without
considering all the possible obstacles to our goals...we
leave ourselves to chance.
