Turning Your Narrative Into a Graphic Novel

    •   Content: Should reflect curriculum
    •   Form: Comic Book/Graphic Novel using Comic Life software
    •   Genre: Non-Fiction
    •   Composition: Putting it all together
    •   Writing/editing a script from the narrative
    •   Selecting images to help move story forward
    •   Working with Graphic Novel Storyboard Template to create a blueprint for your graphic novel.


Session 4: 9:50 - 10:20
Gathering and organizing copyright friendly images

•   Use copyright free work
•   Rename image files to reflect content
•   Organize images in one folder on the desktop
•   List images you want to use in your storyboard
Session 5: 10:20 - 10:45
Participants will create their storyboards with script and images.

Introduction to Comic Life

•    Interface
•    Work area overview
•    Panel and Image Layout
•    Libraries: Templates and Images
•    Speech Balloons and Captions
