        Assignment 2
Before you enter the store
• • This is the entrance of
                   the store, in front
                   there is space for
                   parking vehicles.
                 • Before you enter you
                   have to go through
                   security check, and
                   the luggage is not
                   allowed it should be
                   kept outside with a
                   token no of luggage.
The door is automatically opened, as you get in
you find vegetables on the left side and fruits, milk,
eggs, soft drinks etc on your right.

The font is clear and able to read it from a distance,
the Reliance Mart which I've visited is a all-in-one
store.

I love shopping, for every small needs I go there
and watch things around.
Environment
• The floor is pure white marble, and it is
  slippery, very uncomfortable to walk.
• The ceiling is very high, I don’t care about
  the height.
• The lights are dim at mornings and bright
at night. At night time the Mart looks
  colorful, active, bright.
The environment is quiet noisy, playing music all
the time, kids playing, murmuring etc.

Sometimes they play local songs or radio. I don’t
like those songs at all I ignore it completely.

The store is fully closed except the ground floor,
A.C is On all the time, but it is not too cold or
warm.
The Cash counter is at the Exit.

Security guards are only available at the entrance
and the exit.

As I said before that I love shopping I stay there on
an average of 1hour.

No merchandise are entertained in the store, but
they are available at outside.
Personnel
• After dumping the requirements in the
trolley we have to join the long queue. It
take about 15-30 minutes to make my bill.
• Counter person starts greeting and follow
his script, the same thing every day.
• Sometimes the salesperson treats
differently depending on his mood and our
  behavior.
The only thing I don’t like is the public in the store
is many and only half a dozen counters. Its like 6 :
30

Employees are at age of 19-25.

The employees have to wear a uniform including
the store manager. Many under experienced
people are hired, some do it for money and some
for time pass.
Products
• The thing I notice are chips and biscuits at
  he entrance
• Soft drinks, chips, clothes, cosmetics are
  for sale.
• The products are not arranged they are
  randomly placed.
• Every product is visible
The price tags are placed below the products, it is
easy to find the price.

The sale is placed at the center of the store.

The center table is changed every day with new
offers or deals.
Customers
• Most of the customers are married couple,
  and some with family.
• On an average 40% are with family 55%
  with friends remaining are single.
• Customers stay for 40 minutes on an
  average.
• Most of the customers ranged from 16-30
  aged people
You can move where you want to go, there is no
specified path.

No antique pieces are available in the store so
every product is allowed to touch.

About 90% people come to buy things, and
remaining 10% like me do time pass.

98% of customers do purchase.
Exit
Here is the Exit of the
  store, the door is always
  open and 2-3 security
  guard are addressed at
  the exit.
