This document summarizes an observation of various craft activities that provide both therapeutic benefits and opportunities for social interaction. Crafting offers a sense of belonging and tradition through generations by allowing people to interact with others and pass on skills. References are provided on websites about various crafts like knitting classes, Easter crafts, lace making, and craft programs.

2. Chosen occupation: Crafts
 This is an activity that I was able to observe
while on my placement in many shapes and
forms. Participation in craft activities has both
therapeutic benefits and opportunities for
social interaction with other participants.
 Crafting can offer a sense of belonging,
togetherness, achievement and serve as a
means for passing on tradition through
generation and interacting with others.
