The international community too has recognised that social, economic and environmental progress and broad-based growth can only be achieved and secured on a sustainable basis within a democratic political system based on the rule of law. Therefore the Millennium Declaration stresses that the right of all people to live in dignity and freedom is best ensured through democratic governance based on the will of the people.

Government in the 21st century is undergoing a fundamental transformation: It can no longer afford to go it alone without the active participation of the constituencies to which it provides essential services. The key to gaining that participation is engaging citizens in decision-making and ensuring transparency and accountability.
Village based poor people’s group and union based CBO (who elected by each group and formed a community based organization CBO in a particular local area) are used to take initiative to ensure good governance in local government and local level service provider of national government.

• Participatory Budgeting: local government organize this budgeting session and as per need and as per prioritization of the groups planning of village based group budget will be allocated in short term and long term basis.
• Open Days: one day in each month local government authorities publish their document in an open place.
• One stop service center by using mobile phone & social media: one service number will be use to receive complain. The service number will be toll free and which contain some menu item and that will be user friendly. Social Media account in all sectors is must. People send their complain in this way and within a certain period authority must be answer or re-quarry the complain. In cases of mobile complain authority must be attend complain and send text or call him/her to explain. In the main menu complain of corruption directly to the anti corruption authority will be placed.

What Is Community Radio
Community radio (CR) is characterized by ownership and control by a nonprofit organization whose structure provides for participation by local community members in management, operation, programming, and evaluation. CR programming is based on community access and participation and reflects the interests and needs of the listeners it serves. Benefits of CR include promoting democracy, social inclusion, local values and culture, and giving voice to marginalized groups. CR stations aim for social and financial sustainability through low-cost solutions and innovative programming. Indian policy guidelines require CR stations to serve a defined local community and include at least 50% community-generated content. The road ahead envisions over 4000 CR stations across India to create an inclusive information society.

Ministry of Information, Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh has announced New Community Radio Installation Broadcast and Operation Policy 2017 by Bangladesh Gazette on 8 February 2018.
According to the preamble of Bangladesh Gazette, At the age of the enormous development of science and information technology the world turns to be a ‘Global Village’. It has been assumed that the importance of radio has declined at the age of the global domination of electronic media but in reality, the importance of radio hasn’t decreased in developed, developing & least developed countries. Moreover, radio is playing the vital role by its new initiatives of creative programming to develop education, culture, humanitarian values, and awareness for the cross-section of people of the society. In continuation of these realities, a number of community radios have been installed which are dedicated to the different grass root communities and population of the society of Bangladesh.
These radio stations, known as community radio have been operating in local dialects of the peripheral communities, and with their participation and management. Community Radios are engaged with the help of modern knowledge and technology to bring positive change in the society by local folk culture.

BNNRC in August 2016 organized dialogues through community radios across the country for building capacity of the community radio broadcasters about their participation in line with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Radio in Media in Bangladesh
Public, commercial, and community radio stations broadcast in Bangladesh. Public radio includes Bangladesh Betar/Radio with 12 regional MW and 27 FM stations broadcasting 300 hours per week. Commercial radio includes 12 FM stations broadcasting 25 hours per week. Community radio has grown to include 14 stations broadcasting 120 hours per week, with 2 new stations approved. During Cyclone Mahasen in 2013, 6 community radio stations in coastal areas broadcast 514 hours of programming over 5 days with information on disaster preparedness and relief from local officials and organizations to help keep local communities safe.
Annual Report
BFD worked on education and child rights projects in Yemen in 2020, targeting over 12,000 people including students, teachers, and school staff. Activities included renovating and constructing schools, temporary learning centers, and WASH facilities in schools. Teaching and learning materials like desks, supplies, and bags were also distributed. The story highlighted the challenges faced by students in Al-Hudaydah governorates, with some studying in huts, and BFD's work with NRC to build classrooms to improve access to education.

What Is Community Radio
Community radio (CR) is characterized by ownership and control by a nonprofit organization whose structure provides for participation by local community members in management, operation, programming, and evaluation. CR programming is based on community access and participation and reflects the interests and needs of the listeners it serves. Benefits of CR include promoting democracy, social inclusion, local values and culture, and giving voice to marginalized groups. CR stations aim for social and financial sustainability through low-cost solutions and innovative programming. Indian policy guidelines require CR stations to serve a defined local community and include at least 50% community-generated content. The road ahead envisions over 4000 CR stations across India to create an inclusive information society.

According to the preamble of Bangladesh Gazette, At the age of the enormous development of science and information technology the world turns to be a ‘Global Village’. It has been assumed that the importance of radio has declined at the age of the global domination of electronic media but in reality, the importance of radio hasn’t decreased in developed, developing & least developed countries. Moreover, radio is playing the vital role by its new initiatives of creative programming to develop education, culture, humanitarian values, and awareness for the cross-section of people of the society. In continuation of these realities, a number of community radios have been installed which are dedicated to the different grass root communities and population of the society of Bangladesh.
These radio stations, known as community radio have been operating in local dialects of the peripheral communities, and with their participation and management. Community Radios are engaged with the help of modern knowledge and technology to bring positive change in the society by local folk culture.

Radio in Media in Bangladesh
Public, commercial, and community radio stations broadcast in Bangladesh. Public radio includes Bangladesh Betar/Radio with 12 regional MW and 27 FM stations broadcasting 300 hours per week. Commercial radio includes 12 FM stations broadcasting 25 hours per week. Community radio has grown to include 14 stations broadcasting 120 hours per week, with 2 new stations approved. During Cyclone Mahasen in 2013, 6 community radio stations in coastal areas broadcast 514 hours of programming over 5 days with information on disaster preparedness and relief from local officials and organizations to help keep local communities safe.
Annual Report
BFD worked on education and child rights projects in Yemen in 2020, targeting over 12,000 people including students, teachers, and school staff. Activities included renovating and constructing schools, temporary learning centers, and WASH facilities in schools. Teaching and learning materials like desks, supplies, and bags were also distributed. The story highlighted the challenges faced by students in Al-Hudaydah governorates, with some studying in huts, and BFD's work with NRC to build classrooms to improve access to education.

It has been assumed that the importance of radio is declining due to the dominating role of electronic media globally but the importance of radio is retaining significantly in developed, developing & least developed countries. Moreover, radio is playing a vital role to improve the area of education, culture, human values & dignity, awareness building and cultural development with a new dimension.
In this consequence, significant numbers of radio stations were established under the community policy 2008 dedicating for the marginalized communities. These radios are known as “community radio”, operating with the participation and management of marginalized communities in their dialect. Community radios engage in social transformation by using cultural diversity with the support of knowledge and technologies.

The Community Radio installation, broadcast and management policy 2008 has been formulated by the information ministry of Bangladesh, and we thank the government for it. Bangladesh NGOs Network for Radio and Communication, since its inception - has been in dialogues with the government along with other organizations, on establishing community radios in Bangladesh. After 12 years of earnest efforts, 15 community radio stations are now carrying out their broadcasts in the country and are strengthening the voice of the terminal population through ensuring their right to information. For the poor people of Bangladesh, the state is a distant entity that is hard to reach and even harder to exchange opinions.
Similarly, the people within the low-income community do not listen to each other’s stories. Prosperity, expansion and strengthening of community radio can increase availability of information, and thus play a crucial role in poverty alleviation. The third target of the millennium development goal (MDG) is gender equality and women’s empowerment.
Taking ownership and participation in information technology as examples, it is clear that gender discrimination in use of technology is massive. The scenario is even worse in the broadcast sector. Since community radios are now operational and if the issue is taken seriously from the beginning, then gender equality can be ensured in the administrative, management, program and financial planning departments in running a community radio.
The target of publishing the guideline formulated by The World Association of Community Radio Broadcasters (AMARC)-Women International Network Asia is to create mass awareness among entrepreneurs in private and public sectors in eliminating gender discrimination in community radio program broadcasting.
I hope that community radio initiators will follow this gender guideline while making a gender guideline for their own stations, and will follow them, to bring gender equality in broadcasting programs on community radio in Bangladesh.

Community radio stations in Bangladesh provide an important knowledge sharing tool for climate change adaptation. There are currently 14 operational community radio stations broadcasting 120 hours per week, covering 4.6 million people across 67 sub-districts. The radio stations communicate climate change impacts and adaptation strategies using local dialects and two-way engagement. This helps farming communities understand how weather changes affect their livelihoods and incomes. This activism has led to the cessation of student encampments but also highlighted the substantial sacrifices made by students, including academic disruptions and personal risks. The primary drivers of these protests are poor university administration, lack of transparency, and inadequate communication between officials and students. This study examines the profound emotional, psychological, and professional impacts on students engaged in pro-Palestine protests, focusing on Generation Z's (Gen-Z) activism dynamics. This paper explores the significant sacrifices made by these students and even the professors supporting the pro-Palestine movement, with a focus on recent global movements. Through an in-depth analysis of printed and electronic media, the study examines the impacts of these sacrifices on the academic and personal lives of those involved. The paper highlights examples from various universities, demonstrating student activism's long-term and short-term effects, including disciplinary actions, social backlash, and career implications. The researchers also explore the broader implications of student sacrifices. The findings reveal that these sacrifices are driven by a profound commitment to justice and human rights, and are influenced by the increasing availability of information, peer interactions, and personal convictions. The study also discusses the broader implications of this activism, comparing it to historical precedents and assessing its potential to influence policy and public opinion. The emotional and psychological toll on student activists is significant, but their sense of purpose and community support mitigates some of these challenges. However, the researchers call for acknowledging the broader Impact of these sacrifices on the future global movement of FreePalestine.
