Dear sir/madam:
I am currently pursuing opportunities as a Conductor, and would
like to state my qualifications regarding job opportunites at
your company and explore ways that I could possibly contribute to
your operations. Some related work experience, which ended back
in January of 2013, with Morano Plumbing and Heating, has given
me a lot of opportunities for more than a decade to understand
what manual dexterity truly is, and to get involved with a lot of
various jobs. Some of them would include being able to wire
residential and commercial buildings and work on various
remodeling jobs (such as sandpapering, painting, and various
refactoring of rooms, etc.). Other jobs were working in different
climates (both indoor and outdoor), maintain the conservation and
growth of soil, and help to design blue prints to understand
numerous jobs that would help me train new employees.
Besides working within Morano Plumbing and Heating (my father's
company), I have adaptable and extensive knowledge and skillsets
to succeed in other arenas. For instance, back when I was
employed with Atria Assisted Living, I received a lot of hands-on
experience understanding the important details of working under
pressure at a younger age, as I was in high school, and I have
worked to maintain a lifetime of experience with many manual
jobs.
Even when I had graduated high school, I was still employed at
Atria for more than a year; I had graduated while working there
with straight-A's, in tandem with the completion of more than
1100 hours of community service roughly in two years from the
summer of 2006 to October of 2008. There, I was exposed to my
first time working with powerful industrial equipment, such as
working with a very large and powerful dishwasher, harsh cleaning
chemicals, and cleaning the floors with chemical cleaners.
2. My experience with manual jobs then only branched out, and helped
me get better work experience and broaden my horizons with real-
world work experience, when I took on a new lifestyle at Crothall
and eventually Sodexo. Working two jobs has taught me to balance
a challenging and industrious lifestyle that often involved
upwards of 65 to 70 hours a week, often with little to no days
off for long amounts of time, sometimes for days without end.
Working two jobs has given me the ability of enduring long hours
and the understanding of how to work with different people who
hail from different walks of life. For instance, in Sodexo, I
dealt with different coworkers of different age levels, ranging
from adults to people of my age group (which would include people
roughly around the age of late teens to early-to-mid twenties)
who were also employed there.
Today, I work within Crothall, which I feel gives me an advantage
of working extensively, often in excess of 40-hour work weeks. In
this job, I work to meet expectations and demands, many of which
involve high profile cleaning in the facility. Together, all of
this work experience has, in my belief, solidified in me a
tireless, hardy, and efficient work ethic that I truly believe
could be very useful for your company and industry at large.
My educational background includes a high school diploma from
Liberty High School, located in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, in the
class of 2010, where I graduated with a GPA of 4.0455, with a
rank of 89/663, and was awarded with a silver tassle for
attaining 1,141.75 hours of community service. 1081.75 of those
hours were completed at the Theis-Corn Field Recycling Center,
located in Bethlehem, and the remaining 60 hours were completed
at the Trinity Soup Kitchen, also in Bethlehem.
Enclosed, please find my resume for your consideration. I look
forward to discussing my qualifications for this position with
you. My email and phone number are listed above--please feel free
to contact me at your earliest convenience.
Sincerely,
Trevor Matthew Morano
