Dear Recruiting Team,
I am writing to express my interest in joining your esteemed organization. The enclosed resume
describes my career highlights and my skills that helped me in achieving those milestones. I am an
extremely determined individual and possess goal oriented methodology in working hard for achieving
my goals.
I have been a team player in organizing various successful events both at school and college level. I
have constantly participated in various extracurricular activities, be it cultural events or the technical
ones. Managing academics with these extracurricular activities taught me how to prioritize my task and
manage my time accordingly. My Engineering background has enhanced my analytical and problem
solving techniques and helped me to think out of the box.
Currently, I am working with EY as an IT Consultant (Senior, Advisory) and work in the field of IT
Risk Assurance. My major role in EY is of an IT Auditor. I provide IT external audit support including
financial audit IT integration. The role includes managing and interacting with the Clients and providing
IT assurance and consulting services to them.
Previously, I worked with Landis+Gyr (Toshiba), GDC India as a Software Engineer in the project
Command Center (Head End System). The project required collaborating with the client for
understanding the requirements and functional aspects of the project, developing the design documents
to be used in development, working on development User Stories in agile methodology, fixing bugs,
managing TFS(Team foundation Server ), performing functional and non-functional tests to deliver a
quality product to the customer.
During my period of responsibility at Landis+Gyr (Toshiba) & EY, I learned to apply my theoretical
knowledge in live projects, way of working in agile methodology ,got exposure to different projects &
teams & direct interaction with the customer helped me in developing people management skills. The
role of a Software Engineer made me learn how to manage resources, handle customer problems, deliver
quality product, time management and solving problem on time in non-feasible environment. My
continuous effort in EY and working on different projects as a Senior paid dividends in form of rewards
and recognitions and helped me to learn how to work with people with different working style.
