We shaped our language for the purpose of fitting in with trends and popular topics and ideas. In modern time, we have technology and social media to
influence our language that did not exist 15 years ago.
With the concept of our declining language, we must discuss the effects, which cannot be simply blamed on one source. The language keeps declining
as a result of the new generations forming words to fit their ideas. So the language is in perpetual criticism as it evolves to communicate the feelings
and ideas of a the younger generation.
The next few words and definitions have been selected to illustrate some of the new languages and old languages. These are not particularly popular or
unpopular examples just demonstrating the change over time.
Aesthetic: "To have a particular style or vibe, particularly used with Instagram feeds"
Basic: "A way to describe someone who does most mainstream things and isn't kjjjhhhhoriginal"
Dead/Dying: "When something is so funny that one cannot deal with it anymore"

Some ill hearted people use corruption to achieve the highest place in society. Even in the 1600's Shakespeare writes about how corruption can shape a
society. Corruption can cause an unbalance of power in the wrong places. Geoffrey Chaucer writes about certain classes in the fourteenth century.
Chaucer uses the upper class in Canterbury Tales to show the importance of corruption through the following characters: The Friar, the Pardoner, and
the Summoner.

Today in modern society, it is not unheard for high–ranking government officials and large societal figure head to take part in the occasional corruption

As someone that worked in corrections for 16–years, I have seen corruption events at both the state level and at the local county level in correctional
settings. I there are two common forms of corruptions that I have seen correctional officers walked out and arrested for having sexual relations with

In many ways, the United States can be viewed as one of the most corrupt countries in the world. Hit shows such as Scandal and House of Cards
depict the political world as a vicious playground, one where you can make underground moves and exchange secrets in order to elevate political
standing or achieve a specific goal. Most of the time this leads to a person's financial gains or them rising up in ranks. From the law enforcement &
court system to prisons to even the white house itself, corruption is evident. There have been several incidents in which law enforcement officials have
abused their power for personal gain. Operation Rockfish is a prime example of how the same law enforcement officials people rely on for protection

Corruption is globally regarded to be one of the most immoral and ethically wrong practices in the political realm. There is a reason as to why
corruption has such a strong negative connotation associated with it, as impacts caused by its direct and indirect effects on society cause massive
consequences. The very nature of corruption undermines almost all processes and goals set fourth by a liberal democracy, while causing high distrust
and low public approval between officials and citizens.
The study of corruption is nothing new; it has been the center of substantial analysis and research for decades. Surveying citizens and asking their
perception of the level of corruption in their country mainly carried out early studies on corruption. Later, more direct ways of gathering data emerged
with the use of undercover agents that allowed researchers to interpret more reliable data that ultimately gave them better results.
Many people living in the developed or modernized world, such as North America or Europe, live under the rule of liberal democracies and are
unaware of the extent of corruption that exists around the world. Many citizens living in developing countries face levels of corruption much higher
than those found in democratically consolidated and developed states; as the societal environment found in developing states fosters the proper setting
