RTI activists play a major role in fighting corruption in India, where there is no law to protect whistleblowers as highlighted by the assassination of Satyendra Dubey. Some have called for the creation of an anti-corruption police force and specialized courts to investigate and prosecute corruption at all levels of government. Efforts should also be made to improve court efficiency, increase awareness of government procedures, strictly enforce right to information and citizen charter laws, audit politician's accounts and assets, and make the police department more independent.
I have just participated in a competition of Indian Student Parliament . The topic was Are Indians really Corrupted ? .

Elections form the mainstay of our Indian Democracy. Our democratic setup bestows on us the right to elect the representatives of the state. Besides, the elected people have the right to choose the Head of the State. The elections in India have a long history. India has both General and State elections as promoted by our federal structure. The Election Commission of India is the apex body that conducts elections in India. Both the General and State Elections are held as per the rules prescribed by the Election Commission. This Commission is composed of high-ranking government officials and is constituted according to the provisions of the Indian Constitution. A great degree of autonomous power is bestowed on the Election Commission to exercise control over the election process. Even the judiciary has no right to intervene while the electoral process is on.
Right From The Birth of the Child, to the Death of an old Man, it has reached everywhere.

India is a fast developing country in the world where our systems are weak. So there is always a chance of corruption. Who is responsible for this? What action should be taken? What we must keep in the mind is “Nothing is impossible”. If we join our hands together there can be an end to this deep rooted evil. The only thing is it takes time. A little progress everyday leads to a big result one day ……… may be tomorrow. Be GOOD and DO GOOD
Democracy’s Dark Hour
Why did the resignation of Congress legislators in Karnataka require the intervention of the Supreme Court? The apex court’s judgment favours the rebels and, with the governor stepping in, questions are raised about separation of powers among the Legislature, the Judiciary and the Executive

5. RTI Activists
These Activists play a major role in the fight against
corruption. India currently does not have a law to protect
whistleblowers, which was highlighted by the assassination of
Satyendra Dubey.
Creation of Anti-Corruption Police and Courts
Some have called for the Central Government to create an
Anti-Theft Law enforcement agency that investigates and
prosecute corruption at all levels of government, including
state and local level.
6.
7. Efficiency of Courts should be improved for speedy &
inexpensive justice so that cases don't linger in courts
for years and justice is delivered on time.
Simplification and higher general awareness of govt.
procedures.
Strict enforcement of RTI Act, Citizen Charter etc.
Revision of rates of land deals i.e. the govt. rates of land
should be in synchronization with the market in order to
stop flow of huge amounts of black money.
Police dept. should be an independent body like the
election commission.
Random audit of the accounts and assets of Politicians
specially those in power.
One day a florist went to a barber for a haircut. After the cut, he asked about his bill, and the barber replied, 'I cannot accept money from you; I'm doing community service this week.' The florist was pleased and left the shop. When the barber went to open his shop the next morning, there was a 'thank you' card and a dozen roses waiting for him at his door. Later, a cop comes in for a haircut, and when he tries to pay his bill, the barber again replied, 'I cannot accept money from you; I'm doing community service this week.' The cop was happy and left the shop. The next morning when the barber went to open up, there was a 'thank you' card and a dozen Donuts waiting for him at his door. Then a Member of Parliament came in for a haircut, and when he went to pay his bill, the barber again replied, 'I cannot accept money from you. I'm doing community service this week.' The Member of Parliament was very happy and left the shop. The next morning, when the barber went to open up, there were a dozen other Members of Parliament lined up waiting for a free haircut. And that, my friends, illustrates the fundamental difference between the citizens of our country and the politicians who run it. BOTH POLITICIANS AND DIAPERS NEED TO BE CHANGED OFTEN AND FOR THE SAME REASON! Nothing bad will happen, however, you must live with yourself knowing that laughter is not in your future.
