It was a winters evening and a chill was evident throughout the air.
It was a bleak evening in mid-winter and a sharp chill clung to the air as though it would
freeze your skin to your bones.
Alone in the dimmed glow of a nearby lamp sat a timid girl.

Her manor was restless and her concentration seemed shallow to match her surroundings.
The house was silent. Excluding a fitful drip from a leaking tap in the kitchen.
The erratic beat of the water hitting the sink showed similar characteristics to the young
girls as her gaze would switch from one side of the room to the other which interestingly
seemed to return to the same focal point.
To a person looking in the house it may seem the girls was gazing fitfully as a blank
television screen but to someone looking closer it was evident she was staring past this
into the deep red wall behind her.
