Kirtan is an Indian Traditional Folk Art
Form. It has evolved over thousands of
years, and is considered to be one of the
greatest Art Forms in the world. Kirtan has
contributed greatly in building Indian Social
and Commercial Segments.
What happens
in a Kirtan?
The Kirtankar (performer) identifies the challenges
of the Target Audience, and addresses them through
a carefully designed entertaining art form. This
form includes Stories, Music, Dance, Interactive
Activities and Entertainment. Usually it also
includes positive humour and dark comedy.
Kirtan is completely based on Spiritual References.

Pushkar is an IIM Calcutta alumnus and works as a
Director (Business Operations) with Milastic Education
Pvt Ltd. His forte is in “Management” and
“Entrepreneurship”. By now, he has authored 11
academic books on these subjects which are referred for
studies at three universities across India. He is also
associated as a Faculty / Trainer for these subjects with
few Educational Institutions and Corporates across
India.
He is the ninth generation in his family to perform this
traditional art form. However, with an understanding of
the corporate challenges, he has channelised this art
form to address the corporate issues.
