cornea due to scarring.

There classification is based on two varieties
:
1 – Location based
• Central
• Peripheral
• Total

• Nebular ( fog / mist )
• Macular ( stain / spot )
• Leucomatous ( white )

a) Adherent Leucoma
b) Kerectasia
c) Anterior Staphyloma
d) Corneal Facet
16. SYMPTOMS
Redness and Swelling of the eye
tissues and eyelid
Tearing
Blurred vision
Irritation
Eye discharge
Milky or cloudy area on cornea
Vision loss
17. RISK FACTORS
Vitamin A deficiency
Scarring or infection of eye
Eye injury like chemical agents and foreign bodies
Wearing contact lenses overnight
TREATMENT
Antibiotic,antibacterial,antifungal,or steroidal eye drops
Topical or oral antiviral medication
Phototherapeutic keratectomy(laser surgery)
Cornel transplant
