3. PRESSURE REDUCING VALVE STATIONS
Our PRV stations are designed to maintain a constant down-
stream pressure regardless of the inlet pressure. Our team will
work with you, first to provide valve selection based on flow
rates, and then to ensure optimum system operation. For ease of
accessibility and servicing, our valve stations can be assembled
in underground pre-cast concrete chambers, fabricated steel
tanks and/or outbuildings. Instrumentation for monitoring a
variety of conditions can also be provided.
VALVE CHAMBERS
CORIX supplies a wide variety of valve chambers and uses only
industry-recognized and approved valves for isolation, throttling
or balancing purposes. Applications include:
• Backflow preventer systems to minimize the risk of water
contamination and system damage due to backflow
• Flow metering systems to accurately monitor and control flow
rates
• Air valve stations to eliminate air from systems for optimal line
flow performance
• Level control systems to maintain and prevent overflow in
tanks, towers and reservoirs
• Isolation valve stations to control the flow of media (water,
sewage, etc.) for maintenance or safety purposes
BOOSTER PUMP PACKAGES
We supply a full range of booster pump packages, from simple
pump/motor assemblies to complex, engineering pump and
compressor systems that can include heat exchangers, process
instrumentation, variable speed motor drives and complex
control panels. All our systems are pre-piped, pre-wired and
tested in our facility to ensure efficient, accurate installation. In
addition, our equipment can be designed to meet a variety of
certification needs, including Lloyds, CCG, ULC and DNV.

Low carbon footprint fabrication facility
CORIX fabricates its packaged systems from our state-of-the-art
facility in Langley, British Columbia. Our 80,000 sq. ft. custom-
designed and constructed facility brings together staff,
operations and equipment from several branches, enabling us to
offer a full selection of water and wastewater products,
treatment plants, engineered products and systems and
measurement services.
The facility also showcases several of our cost-efficient,
sustainable energy technology solutions, including:
• A closed loop GeoExchange system to meet heating and
cooling needs for office spaces
