This document provides instructions for an assignment on Harper Lee and her novel To Kill a Mockingbird. Students are asked to write a 2-3 page research essay relating biographical information about Harper Lee and how her life is reflected in the novel. Students must use at least two academic sources in addition to the novel and properly cite all sources using APA style. The essay should be well-organized with an introduction, body paragraphs, and conclusion and follow APA formatting guidelines.
