The field of Information retrieval (IR) is currently undergoing a transformative shift, at least partly due to the emerging applications of generative AI to information access. In this talk, we will deliberate on the sociotechnical implications of generative AI for information access. We will argue that there is both a critical necessity and an exciting opportunity for the IR community to re-center our research agendas on societal needs while dismantling the artificial separation between the work on fairness, accountability, transparency, and ethics in IR and the rest of IR research. Instead of adopting a reactionary strategy of trying to mitigate potential social harms from emerging technologies, the community should aim to proactively set the research agenda for the kinds of systems we should build inspired by diverse explicitly stated sociotechnical imaginaries. The sociotechnical imaginaries that underpin the design and development of information access technologies needs to be explicitly articulated, and we need to develop theories of change in context of these diverse perspectives. Our guiding future imaginaries must be informed by other academic fields, such as democratic theory and critical theory, and should be co-developed with social science scholars, legal scholars, civil rights and social justice activists, and artists, among others.

1. The most commonly used copper-nickel sulfide ore beneficiation method include flotation,
gravity, magnetic separation and mineral processing separation is usually secondary. Copper-
nickel sulfide ore flotation, we often use agents and foaming agents. The basic principles of
becoming nickel-copper concentrate is to determine the flotation process, as far as possible to
avoid to elect the copper-nickel concentrate. Because of the significant loss of nickel in the nickel
smelting process of copper concentrate, and nickel-copper concentrate can be more completely
elected.
Currently used the nickel oxide ore crushing and screening process to pre-removal of the low
degree of weathering, the rock of low nickel content. As scattered in the gangue minerals are
isomorphic forms of nickel ore, nickel oxide grain is very fine, the oxidation of nickel ore can not
use mechanical methods of beneficiation. Instead, they can only direct smelting.
Symons cone crusher is widely used in the nickel ore crushing. It has standard cone crusher and
short head cone crusher. They have been used as a nickel ore crusher. The cone crusher crush
materials before the flotation was sent to the rod mill and ball mill grinding. The vibrating screen
is used to sieve different sizes of particle size of nickel ore. The screening equipment is also a
nickel mine and grinding, crushing necessary equipment.

impact crusher and so on. The grinder also includes the coal mill, raymond mill, vertical grinding
trapezium grinder, grind the coarse powder. Beneficiation equipment, magnetic separator, flotation
