Editor's Notes
Here is a snippet from the schedule to illustrate how this works. On Thursday, 1.15 pm Eyal Oren provides a keynote, which all attendees are welcome to join. This will be in the large room (Wiechert). After the keynote you can either visit one of the two tutorials, Profiling governance and How to build a FHIR server, or you go to the lounge for the hands-on sessions. Every tutorial is part of a so-called track. The track is the overall theme of a set of tutorials. I’ll come back to that later.
-The hands-on sessions take place in the large rooms.
These session are really intended for interacting with others. You can work on the exercises that are provided for the tutorial leads, you can work on your own software, work on FHIR profiling.
-Some of the tutorial speakers provide exercises that relate to the tutorials. You are free to choose which exercises to perform, or to not do any exercises at all and bring your own use-case or prototype and work on that. In any case, the tutorial speakers are available during the handson sessions to guide you and answer questions. The exercises are also available online at the fhirdevdays.com conference site or available in hard copy at the registration desk.
-
The tables for the handson sessions are marked with signs for a specific track.
Of course, you are free to use the hands-on sessions to read your email and do other work, but if you do, please keep in mind that’s not what you’re here for!
For all people not going back to Corendon Hotel or that want to stay and explore please arrange your own ride.
