Fact: people tend to be generally unhappy
Fact: They want more joy and confidence
Fact: More sex, drugs and rock and roll. Just kidding.
Well kind of.
The thing is this.
Lack of confidence = lack of ability to take advantage of your own strengths,
to hold strong during times of difficulty, to take on opportunities.
Lack or joy = you not enjoying the emotional peaks in your life and you don’t
remember what’s important during the lows.
Knowing how to control your emotions are essential for your ability to achieve and
thrive.
Having the skill I am about to share with you will affect your life in a great way. By
strengthening your ability to manage your emotions & enjoy the experiences you
really want to have.
So here’s the deal, Im going to show you 1 practical way (yes practical does mean
you have to do something) to strengthen your ability to show the heck up with the
emotions you really want to experience so you can move forward in the direction you
want to go much faster and experience a more fulfilled life everyday.

We all have emotional experiences we value so my intention for you is to have more
of them.
Here’s what you will learn here today:
1. How to find a target emotion – like Confidence, happiness, joy
2. How to have these emotions more
Yep. Pretty simple.
Here are some of the emotions you might have:
Connection, interaction, conversation, togetherness companionship
Or more like
Victoy, breakthrough, winning, achievement, attainment,
Or
Peace, justice , fairness
or
fun
“Your target emotion is within you and are emotions you value.”

Part 1
Stem statement – your target emotion
I want to feel______________
I want to feel______________
I want to feel______________
Repeat writing the sentence out filling in the black differently if possible, don’t stop
writing.
Do this for 2 mins.
This will reveal you true emotions deep down for you, that are important for you.
If you want you can change the word you are using for example if your target
emotion is love you can use other words like passion, togetherness, wanted,
intimacy, unity.
Its ok to get creative with words!
Go for it!
Don’t worry if you have come up with some weird answers that’s fine laugh them off
and continue

Your “do” list
write this sentence repeatedly. Use the same target emotion for each sentence. Now
we want to create multiple answers.
You can include different one at a different time.
I feel {target emotion} when______
I feel {target emotion} when______
For example:
I feel happy when I publish an article
I feel happy when im on the beach, with my laptop (come on who really brings their
laptop on the beach)
……………..when I walk the dog
…………………when I (you get the idea)
And finally…

Your don’t list
Which is, looking at what stops you from feeling your target emotions.
Write this sentence repeatedly. Use the same target emotion for each sentence.
Now we want to create multiple answers. You can include different ones.
I don’t feel {target emotion} when______
I don’t feel {target emotion} when______
Example
I don’t feel happy when my boss is stressed out
I don’t feel happy when my kids are complaining
Remember to use the same target emotion you have been using but next time you
can change it.
Out of your 3 lists how often do you experience your target emotion in a week?
Now you can answer these questions for yourself:
Would you like to experience your target emotion more?
Is it enough for you?
Where does it happen?
When?

Now
We are going to create some rules so that you can have and experience your target
emotions
Look at you ‘do’ and ‘don’t’ list and put a star by 3 examples that are significant to
you either frequent or one that’s very emotional.
Example: I feel happy when 12 people send me money everyday
Or
I don’t feel happy when my kids are whining in the car.
do these things happen often or not, affecting you ability to experience your target
emotion?
Heres How
Go from: “Ill feel happy when I make more money in my business”
To: “I feel happy every time I work towards my goals”
Write down 3 things now that are direct, simple, repeatable ways to access you
target emotion.
(Remember were doing a practical exercise.)
One more example:
Go from: “I’ll feel healthy when I lose 20 pounds”
To: “I feel healthy when I walk on the treadmill for 30 minutes”
You can use these tools to access your important, target emotions everyday.
Whether you seek to be confident, happy, full of joy or anything else. So keep
practising this exercise!
