2. PREGNANCY
•More chance of incarceration of
retroverted gravid uterus in flat pelvis
•Abdomen becomes pendulous
•Malpresentation increases 3-4 times

3. LABOUR
• Increased incidence of early rupture of
membrane
• Incidence of cord prolapse is increased
• Cervical dilatation is slow
• Increased tendency of prolonged labour
and if neglected becomes obstructed
labour
• Increased incidence of shock,PPH and
sepsis

4. FETAL HAZARDS
Intracranial haemorrhage
Asphyxia
Skull fracture
