VISION
To contribute to sustainable social and economic progress by assisting SMEs in their process of
internationalization
INTRODUCTION
Founded in January 2006, Onemedit is an international network of services and consulting providers for
international activities. It was created to offer entrepreneurs in the region a reference platform to direct
their operations beyond their national borders. It offers services to SMEs, public institutions and other
entities involved in SMEs assistance.

WORKING METHODOLOGY
Onemedit bases its activities on a shared methodology summarized in its “service modules”. They serve as
a tool to help identify the client's needs, develop a clear vision of the project and plan effectively the use of
ad-hoc resources.
Our methodology
Elements of our methodology are:
 A meeting at the client's premises in order to define its project as well as Onemedit role
 Immediate activation of one or more offices to implement the project on site
 Continuous monitoring and evaluation of activities and results
In the interest of its clients, Onemedit pays the maximum attention to the following aspects:

SERVICE MODULES
The services are offered within three kind of projects: organisation of economic events, assistance to group
of companies, assistance to single companies.
Organisation of economic events
The presence of Onemedit in different countries allows two main actions: collection of first- hand
information on market and sector’s trends and a quick promotional action in different markets at once.
These features are particularly suitable for economic event organisers (conferences, fairs, seminars) where
international participants and exposure are needed.
The following packages are offered :
- Fair delegate
Conceived to assure fair organizers who want to have the highest level of international visibility to their
activities. It includes PR with foreign public institutions, media, industrial associations, focus groups etc.
- Promotion of single events: this includes media campaign, promotion among focus groups, sector-
oriented researches, selection and involvement of foreign delegations.
Assistance to group of companies
Public administrations meant to the private sector support are deeply interested in Onemedit assets.
Physical closeness with local companies and immediacy of setting motion abroad are point of strength for
which Onemedit has been awarded different contracts by public or semi public authorities. Onemedit is the
ideal partner in project preparation and development given its role of regional observatory and local player
in many different countries.

Assistance to single companies

PROJECTS REALIZED
Onemedit collaborates and offers its services to private companies and to institutions meant to support
them. As an example of our activities we report some relevant projects below:
Organization of economic events
Trade fair participation
 Verona Fiere (Italy)
Onemedit is Verona Fiere delegate for Egypt, Jordan, Tunisia, Algeria and Morocco. The main field of activity
is the promotion within the Mediterranean region of some international trade fairs organized by Verona
Fiere. So far Onemedit has assisted:

Onemedit has assisted several delegations of foreign buyers and organised and assisted more than 600 B2B
meetings.
 MS Africa & Middle East 2014 (Cairo, Egypt)
The event, welcoming its first edition, is scheduled in Cairo 11-14 December 2014 and is organized by
Veronafiere in collaboration with Art Line, the Egyptian organiser of exhibition events.
Ms & Africa Middle East is the International Trade Fair for Stone Design, Technology, Earthmoving and
Building Machinery”. Onemedit has been asked by Veronafiere to assist both partners for the good
realization of the partnership. Moreover Onemedit is agent for selling exhibition spaces in Nord Africa and
Middle East.
 Arabian Dream 2008 (Venice Lido, Italy - June 2008)
Arabian Dream 2008 is meant to be an international economic event that, in the cornice of the passion for
Arabian horses, brings together in Venice some of the most important representatives of the real estate
business to discuss about relevant trends in the Arab region.
Onemedit’ contribution consisted in the elaboration of the conference concept and panel composition.

 Bus & bus Egypt (Cairo, Egypt)
Onemedit and Bus & Bus have ranked first among the projects submitted for financing in 2008 to the Italian
Ministry of Industry and Economic Development. Activities, to be developed in Egypt and Italy in the year
2009 in association with the Egyptian Automotive Manufacture Association, are being structured.
 Expolink - Cosmoprof 2007 (Bologna, Italy - September 2007)
Expolink (Egyptian Exporters Association) supports Egyptian delegations to international fairs. For the 2007
edition of Cosmoprof (largest European cosmetic fair held in Bologna) Expolink requested Onemedit to
promote the Egyptian delegation (6 companies) to buyers or potential industrial partners. During the event,
60 meetings were organised and assisted by Onemedit staff. Two companies succeeded in establishing
preliminary negotiations with foreign international partners.
 Bluexpo project, ‘‘floating’’ fair on the Mediterranean sea (Tunis October 2008)
Onemedit received the mandate from the Turkish ADG Trade Fair, organizer of Bluexpo, a floating fair on
the Mediterranean sea by ship, to promote this event in Tunisia during the stage in Tunis harbour “La
Goulette” on 20 and 21 October 2008.
Onemedit has organised and managed the media and telemarketing campaign.
The event saw the participation of 1300 Tunisian enterprises and more than 1000 meeting between
operators.
 Agroexpo Eurasia 2008 (Turkey, November 2008)
A delegation of 12 Italian companies representing different sub-sectors within the agro-mechanic main one
was accompanied to the Turkish fair (Agroexpo Eurasia) held in Izmir. More than 60 b2b meetings have
been organised aside of the event.
 AGD - Arabian Group For Development (Egypt)
Onemedit promotes and represents in Italy Interbuild Egypt, the event dedicated to the construction and
building materials sectors in Egypt, organized by AGD, the Arabian Group for Development.
 CNR Holding (Turkey)
Onemedit represents CNR Holding in Italy, Egypt and Tunisia and promotes the event Subconist, the most
important international event dedicated to subcontracting exhibition in Turkey.
 Fiere di Parma - Cibus Tec (Parma, Italy)
Fiere di Parma commissioned Onemedit to select a delegation of foreign buyers coming from Tunisia, Libya
and Algeria invited for the 2009 edition of Cibus Tec, the event dedicated to food and processing
technologies. Onemedit is in charge of the assistance to the delegation of entrepreneurs that will have B2B
meetings with Italian expositors.
 Fiere di Parma - Mercanteinfiera (Parma, Italy)
Fiere di Parma commissioned Onemedit to select a delegation of foreign buyers coming from Turkey invited
for the 2013 Autumn edition and 2014 Spring edition of Mercanteinfiera, the event dedicated to Antiques
and Modern.

 Rimini Fiere - SIAGuest (Rimini, Italy)
At the 59th edition of SIAGuest, the leading event in Italy for hotel and hospitality sector, Onemedit
selected and assisted a delegation of entrepreneurs coming from Egypt and Turkey. Onemedit assisted the
foreign buyers in the course of the meetings with Italian exhibitors.
 Rimini Fiere – Sigep (Rimini, Italy)
For the 31st edition of Sigep, the international exhibition for Gelato, Pastry, Confectionery and Bakery,
Onemedit selected a delegation of foreign buyers from Egypt, Algeria, Tunisia and Turkey. The delegation
was assisted by Onemedit staff in the course of the visit to the exhibition and during the meetings with
exhibitors.
 Rimini Fiere – Sapore (Rimini, Italy)
For the first edition of SAPORE (beverage, food and seafood for the Ho.Re.Ca. canne) that combines in a
unique event six different expos (MIA, Frigus, Oro Giallo, MSE, DiVino Lounge and Pianeta Birra Beverage &
Co), Onemedit selected and assisted in the course of btob meetings with exhibitors a delegation of foreign
buyers from Egypt and Turkey.
 Promotec – Autopromotec (Bologna, Italy)
Edition 2011
Autopromotec is the most specialized exhibition in the world for the assistance to the automotive industry
and is a benchmark of the international automotive aftermarket. In Onemedit is Promtoec delegate for
Turkey and Egypt markets and for 2011 edition it realized the following activities: promotion of
Autopromotec in Egypt and Turkey, Press Conference in Istanbul, Selection and assistance of delegation of
buyers from Turkey and Egypt.
Edition 2013
In preparation to the edition 2013 of Autopromotec Onemedit has been asked to realize a road show in
Turkey (Bursa, Konya, Izmir) in order to present to potential Turkish exhibitors the offer of Promotec event
and to edit an updated report about the automotive sector in Turkey.
 Ipack Ima Spa – Ipack Ima (Milano, Italy)
IPACK-IMA is one of the most important international events in the industry of packaging, processing and
material handling technology. Onemedit is Ipack Ima agent and delegate for Turkish market. Onemedit has
been asked to realize the following activities:
Promotion of Ipack Ima towards Turkish companies attending Interpack Dusseldorf 2011.
Sell of exhibition area for 2012 edition of Ipack Ima and selection of a delegation of Turkish buyers.
 Ipack Ima Spa – Pharmintech (Bologna, Italy)
PHARMINTECH is one of the exhibition for the pharmaceutical, nutraceutical and personal care industry
(Aprile 2013, Bologna). Onemedit has been asked to realize the following activities:
Promotion of Pharmintech towards Turkish companies and selection of a delegation of Turkish buyers.

 Exposanità 2012 – Senaf Srl (Italy, Bologna)
Turkey has been invited as a ‘Guest of Honor’ at the XVIII Exposanità, International Health Care Exhibition,
taking place in BolognaFiere Exhibition Center May 16th
- 19th
.
The fair organizer, Senaf Srl, asked Onemedit to realize the following activities:
- to write a report about Health care sector in Turkey focused on the opportunity for foreign
companies to enter the market
- to select and invite to Exposanità some institutional representatives of the Minister of Health to
take part in the round table “Health management: old and new universalistic health services
challenges”.
Projects for groups of companies
 BtoB meetings in Algeria (hydro and environment sector)
Promoted by Ceipiemonte (Agency for Investments, Export and Tourism of the Piemonte Region), the
project contents are: check up and swot analysis of Italian SMEs projects on Algerian market, promotion
and selection of counterparts in Algeria, organization of meetings and visits to potential partners in Algeria.
 BtoB meetings in Algeria (building and construction materials sector)
Promoted by the Chamber of Commerce of Pordenone, Pordenone Export and Industrial Association of
Pordenonethe project contents are: check up and swot analysis of Italian SMEs projects on Algerian market,
promotion and selection of counterparts in Algeria, organization of meetings and visits to potential
partners in Algeria.
 BtoB meetings and Study Tours (outdoor ornamental plants sector) in Italy
In the framework of the European Project “Development & Investment Strategy for Outdoors Ornamental
Plants Sector” that involves Turkey, Holland, Italy and Spain operators of outdoor ornamental plants sector,
Onemedit coordinated the organization of the study tour in Italy (Mantova, Pistoia, Messina).
 BtoB meetings in Turkey
Co-sponsored by Emilia Romagna Region and co-organized with Emilia Romagna Industrial Association, the
project contents are: check up and swot analysis of Italian SMEs projects on Turkish market, promotion and
selection of counterparts in Turkey, organization of meetings and visits to potential parterns in Turkey. The
project will be replied in 2012.
 BtoB meetings (agro-industry, agriculture, mechanic sector) in Italy
Co-Sponsored and organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Ravenna (Italy) the project aimed at
promoting Italian SMEs of Emilia Romagna Region in Turkey and Sirya and realized a session of BtoB
meetings and visits in February 2011. Onemedit was responsible of the activities in Syria.
 Project in Egypt and Libya promoted by the Italian Region Emilia Romagna
The region Emilia-Romagna commissioned Onemedit to provide assistance to the small and medium
enterprises of its territory belonging to the sectors living – building (home furniture and equipments,
building-construction industry) willing to operate in Libya and Egypt.

 Italian companies participating to Interbuild Egypt
The region Emilia Romagna commissioned Onemedit to accompany a selected group of companies
belonging to the sector living – building (home furniture and equipments, building-construction industry)
to participate to the fair Interbuild Egypt, the event dedicated to the construction and building materials
sectors in Egypt, organized by AGD, the Arabian Group for Development.
 Onemedit network is the Mediterranean desk for Unioncamere Emilia Romagna
Emilia Romagna Chambers of Commerce Union charged Onemedit with formulating a convention proposal
for the service of Mediterranean desk in Algeria, Tunisia and Egypt. The Italian provinces that will be
involved in the convention are: Ravenna, Ferrara, Forlì-Cesena, Rimini and Bologna.
 Analysis of market opportunities, consulting services and organization of business visit in Egypt and
Lybia (Emilia-Romagna Region, Italy)
Onemedit srl together with Roncucci&Partners srk bid and won a contract issued by the Emilia-Romagna
region meant to provide to regional SMEs assistance and consulting in their approach to Egypt and Libya
markets. The activities in program are: country presentation about Egypt and Libya opportunities in the
sectors of construction and home-sector; promotion and partners research for each company that will take
part to the project; organization of a business mission in Egypt and Libya.
 Country presentation, consulting service about internationalization and research of foreign partners
in North Africa (COFIMP, Italy)
In the framework of the project “North Africa” aimed at assisting SME to approach new foreign markets,
Onemedit was asked to realize the following activities: country presentation about specific industrial
sectors in Tunisia and Egypt; consulting service for each single company participating to the project;
promotion of the company profile in Egypt/Tunisia and organization of btob meetings with potential
partners.
 Organization of business meetings in Tunisia with 25 Turkish companies (mechanic sector)
The project was co-financed by Turkish government and realized by Onemedit in partnership with a Turkish
consulting company. Onemedit Tunisia organized the business visit in Tunis scheduled from 16th
to 18th
November 2009. The 25 Turkish companies were specialized in the mechanics sector and met 80 Tunisian
counterparts.
 Promotion activity (Trentino Sprint, Italy)
Trentino Sprint (Special agency belonging to the Chamber of Commerce of Trento, Italy), asked Onemedit to
promote the company profiles of Trentino companies, specialized in the production and processing of
stone and marble, in the following markets: Egypt, Tunisia, Lebanon, Jordan, Syria, Algeria, Libya and
Morocco.
 Country presentation and business visit abroad (Ravenna Chamber of Commerce, Italy)
In the sphere of the project “Southern Turkey 2009-2010” of the Chamber of Commerce of Ravenna,
Onemedit was asked to collaborate for the realization of the following activities:
Turkey country presentation; personalized consulting service for each company that apply to the project;
preparation of the mission of companies in Turkey. The target sectors of the projects are: agro-industry,
food processing, agro mechanics, construction and home-sector (furnishing, interiors, linen, house-keeping
equipments.

 Country presentation, consulting services and business mission in Egypt/Tunisia (Mantua Chamber of
Commerce, Italy)
Promoimpresa, the Special Agency for the Chamber of Commerce of Mantua asked Onemedit to realize
two seminars about Egyptian and Tunisian markets opportunities to be addressed to companies belonging
to agro-food, gardening, construction, furniture and home sectors. The seminars are part of the
“Mediterranean project” promoted by the Chamber that provides to the associated companies consulting
services through Onemedit and the organization of a business mission in Tunisia/Egypt.
 Assistance to business delegation in Turkey (Izmir, Turkey November 2007)
Onemedit was asked by Promoimpresa, the Special Agency for the Chamber of Commerce of Mantua, to
plan a business visit for a delegation of 9 Italian companies from 5th
to 9th
November 2007 in Izmir, Turkey.
 UNIDO study tour for a Turkish delegation (Northern Italy September 2008)
In a project aimed at removing methyl bromide from table tomatoes cultivation, the United Nations
Organization for the Industrial Development (UNIDO), asked Onemedit the realization of a Study Tour for a
group of Turkish governmental representatives coming from Antalya. Italian operators explained visitors
technical and commercial implications connected to the adoption of cleaner alternatives.
 Analysis of market opportunities and preparation of a business visit to the Turkish market
(mechanical and agro-industry sectors) November 2008
Onemedit srl and Economisti Associati srl bid and won a 15-months contract issued by the Emilia-Romagna
region meant to provide to regional SMEs assistance and consulting in their approach to the Turkish
market. The project has already involved 75 companies and will be completed by the end of February 2009.
 Agriculture Marketing Study (Egypt)
Onemedit won a limited tender for consultancy for a Agriculture Marketing Study, which aimed to provide
Egyptian small and medium sized farmers from the governorates of Fayoum, Sohag e Qena with useful
guidelines to improve their business in the national and international markets.
 Market research and training for textile consortium from Puglia region to better operate in Russian
and Arabic markets
An Italian consortium for the textile and clothing industries asked Onemedit to produce a market analysis
aimed at specific foreign markets (Russia and Emirates) and to provide training to Italian entrepreneurs in
the field of international activities project.

Projects for single companies
 Export development (software sector)
An Italian software house asked Onemedit to find an Egyptian partner capable of adapting and
commercialise its software for agro-food industry traceability to Egyptian customers.
Onemedit’s role was to select the appropriate partner with the specific technical and commercial
competences needed for the translation, sale and technical assistance of the tool.
Onemedit selected the ideal counterpart and assisted the companies during the agreement definition.
Today the “Arabic” software is being commercialised in Egypt.
 Export development (Shoes)
An Italian company specialized in the production of average-high quality women shoes and sporting unisex
shoes, wants to open new markets in Tunisia, Egypt and Turkey. The firm wants to meet new clients who
have expertise in imported European shoes and are located in the most dynamic commercial centres.
Onemedit is promoting the project through local operators willing to commercialize Made in Italy shoes in
their markets.
 Export development (Fresh and canned fruits)
An Egyptian company active in producing fresh and canned fruits has planned its expansion in the European
market. By request of the company, Onemedit is presently preparing and implementing a two-year
strategic approach to the Italian market which includes promotional activities, research and selection of
commercial and industrial partners.
 Import development (fruits and vegetable sector)
In order to offer a wider range of fresh products in the European market, an Italian entrepreneur wanted to
establish a long-lasting collaboration with an Egyptian supplier for his outlet.
Onemedit’s role was to select the suppliers, assist the client company during the definition of an annual
purchase programme and solve all the logistic problems linked to the shipping transport. Four Egyptian
companies became suppliers for the Italian buyer.
 Export development (fruit and vegetable sector)
A fast growing Egyptian company specialised in artichokes production was wishing to increase the volume
of its exports and asked Onemedit to select the best Italian companies which were interested in the
Egyptian products and for a proper partnership. Forty four suppliers have been identified. The assistance
provided by Onemedit allowed this company to begin export with two new clients.
 Joint ventures (Lubricants)
Two companies, one Italian and one Egyptian, are establishing a joint venture in Egypt to produce
lubricants for automobiles and machineries. Target markets of the JV are neighbouring North African
countries. The Italian company has requested the support of Onemedit to define the strategic approach for
the agreement and related negotiations. Onemedit has developed for the company a 1-year project which
is under implementation.
 International partnership (Natural tourism)
A Tunisian club specialized in horses rental and horses tours called Centre d’Animation Equestre Belvédère
de Tunis (C.A.E.T.B.), contacted the Italian National Body for Horses guides (E.N.G.E.A.) in order to test and

certify a Tunisian horses-route which will be included in a holiday proposal for the European, American and
Japanese market.
In order to guarantee the fulfilment of the project and to facilitate the communication between the parties,
the Tunisian operator has asked Onemedit to follow the communication process and provide linguistic
assistance before and during the implementation of the horse-tour in Tunisia. The first group of foreign
tourists as already taken a 1-week tour across Tunisia.
 Transfer of technology from Italy to North Africa (ceramics sector)
Onemedit’s role was to search for an industrial partner for an Italian company wishing to transfer its
productive facility and know-how to a suitable market. The research was focused on the Mediterranean
area and in particular, Tunisia, which offers favourable economic and market conditions for their company.
The project successfully selected a Tunisian entrepreneur who visited the Italian Company and discussed a
collaboration scheme. Both parties showed their interest and willingness to establish an Italian-Tunisian
Joint Venture. A business plan is under construction.
 Foreign investment (agriculture sector)
An Egyptian producer of the fruit and vegetables who was looking to sell at least 50% of its company, asked
Onemedit to look for an investor (preferably Italian) already operating in the international relevant market.
Onemedit’s role was to select one or more entrepreneurs interested in the proposal. After evaluating the
business project, Onemedit found a potential partner. A one-year co-operation is currently being
undertaken between the two partners in order to gather information and experience so to finalise a
permanent partnership.
 Foreign desk for German multinational (metal finishing and marble sectors)
The Italian branch of a German multinational which responsible for the group's commercial activity in the
Mediterranean area, requested Onemedit Egypt for two years of support in the local market. Onemedit is
expected to support the group by selecting its national agents and distributors and to establish a fruitful
cooperation with Egyptian public institutions. Five potential Egyptian agents have been interviewed and
two received a cooperation proposal from the multinational group. Negotiations are ongoing.
 Export development (rolling shutters sector)
An Italian company which is a leader in the production of rolling shutter accessories and exports its
products all over the world has expressed an interest in entering the Egyptian market.
Onemedit's mandate consists of searching for Egyptian manufacturers of industrial rolling shutters,
selecting one or more distributors and organizing an agenda of B2B meetings in Egypt between the Italian
company and the potential partners in Egypt.
 Export development (cosmetic sector)
An Italian company which produces and commercializes hair products asked Onemedit to select new
potential clients in Tunisia. Onemedit's activities include: the preparation of a market survey for the target
sector, preparation of promotional material in French, promoting the company in Tunisia and studying the
best marketing strategy for the Tunisian market.
 Selection of suppliers and assistance in defining a foreign market strategy
On behalf of a manufacturing company specialized in household sector (gas), Onemedit has selected some
Chinese suppliers, evaluated their productive capacity, and assisted the company in the organization of a
purchasing plan for semi-finished products to be completed in Italy and sold in Europe. In this respect,
Onemedit has planned a foreign product marketing strategy.

 Registration of a foreign branch (water treatment sector)
An Italian company specialized in the production of industrial water treatment plants wants to register
an branch office in Turkey aimed at importing, installing and providing technical assistance for

 Registration of foreign branches (hinges for household)
An Italian company specialized in the production of hinges for household asked Onemedit to be assisted for
the registration of two branches in Egypt and Tunisia.
In particular the company need Onemedit support for the following activities:
- to individuate the best location for the future productive plants;
- consultancy about all the legal aspects concerning the registration of the local society:
- logistic and linguistic assistance in the course of the several meetings that the company will do in
Egypt and Tunisia.
 Direct investment in Tunisia
An Italian enterprise specialized in the soil less production of tomato (hydroponics) decided to invest in
Tunisia asking Onemedit assistance in these activities: research of partner, negotiation, fund raising. The
company, whose project amounts 10 M €, is closing the negotiation with three partners.
 Selection of suppliers and assistance in defining a foreign market strategy (construction sector)
An Italian trading company that supply bitumen to the construction industry asked Onemedit to find and
select in Egypt bitumen suppliers because of the lack of product on the national market.
 Producing and commercial partnership (fruit sector)
An Italian company leader in Italy in the melon production willing to guarantee the availability of product
all long the year asked Onemedit to be assisted on the Tunisian market for the research and selection of a
production partner.

According to the agreement, Onemedit hosted in its bureaus located in Italy, Egypt, and Tunisia, some
students attending the Master's in Local Development (MDL) organized by STOA’. This program aims to
create new professionals who are able to project, promote and manage local and international
development projects. In addition, four students attending the Master's in International Development
organized, by STOA’, undertook a 3-months internship at Onemedit’s offices in order to acquire
competences and new skills about SMEs development at a international level.

It was created to offer entrepreneurs in the region a reference platform to direct their operations beyond their national borders. It offers services to SMEs, public institutions and other entities involved in SMEs assistance. They serve as a tool to help identify the client's needs, develop a clear vision of the project and plan effectively the use of ad-hoc resources. Organisation of economic events The presence of Onemedit in different countries allows two main actions: collection of first- hand information on market and sector’s trends and a quick promotional action in different markets at once. These features are particularly suitable for economic event organisers (conferences, fairs, seminars) where international participants and exposure are needed. The following packages are offered : - Fair delegate Conceived to assure fair organizers who want to have the highest level of international visibility to their activities. It includes PR with foreign public institutions, media, industrial associations, focus groups etc. - Promotion of single events: this includes media campaign, promotion among focus groups, sector- oriented researches, selection and involvement of foreign delegations. Assistance to group of companies Public administrations meant to the private sector support are deeply interested in Onemedit assets. Physical closeness with local companies and immediacy of setting motion abroad are point of strength for which Onemedit has been awarded different contracts by public or semi public authorities. Onemedit is the ideal partner in project preparation and development given its role of regional observatory and local player in many different countries. Assistance to single companies Each company, big or small, needs assistance in its activities abroad.   • 6. 6 Annex 1 PROJECTS REALIZED Onemedit collaborates and offers its services to private companies and to institutions meant to support them. As an example of our activities we report some relevant projects below: Organization of economic events Trade fair participation  Verona Fiere (Italy) Onemedit is Verona Fiere delegate for Egypt, Jordan, Tunisia, Algeria and Morocco. The main field of activity is the promotion within the Mediterranean region of some international trade fairs organized by Verona Fiere. So far Onemedit has assisted: Fieragricola 2006, 2008, 2010, 2012 Vinitaly / Sol 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 Samoter 2008 (buyers from Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Algeria, Morocco, Libya), 2011, 2012, 2014 Marmomacc 2006 and 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 Fieracavalli 2006 and 2007, 2008 Siab 2007, 2010 Eurocarne 2009, 2012 Bus&bus 2009 Onemedit has assisted several delegations of foreign buyers and organised and assisted more than 600 B2B meetings.  MS Africa & Middle East 2014 (Cairo, Egypt) The event, welcoming its first edition, is scheduled in Cairo 11-14 December 2014 and is organized by Veronafiere in collaboration with Art Line, the Egyptian organiser of exhibition events. Ms & Africa Middle East is the International Trade Fair for Stone Design, Technology, Earthmoving and Building Machinery”. Onemedit has been asked by Veronafiere to assist both partners for the good realization of the partnership. Moreover Onemedit is agent for selling exhibition spaces in Nord Africa and Middle East.  Arabian Dream 2008 (Venice Lido, Italy - June 2008) Arabian Dream 2008 is meant to be an international economic event that, in the cornice of the passion for Arabian horses, brings together in Venice some of the most important representatives of the real estate business to discuss about relevant trends in the Arab region. Onemedit’ contribution consisted in the elaboration of the conference concept and panel composition.
  • 7. 7  Bus & bus Egypt (Cairo, Egypt) Onemedit and Bus & Bus have ranked first among the projects submitted for financing in 2008 to the Italian Ministry of Industry and Economic Development. Activities, to be developed in Egypt and Italy in the year 2009 in association with the Egyptian Automotive Manufacture Association, are being structured.  Expolink - Cosmoprof 2007 (Bologna, Italy - September 2007) Expolink (Egyptian Exporters Association) supports Egyptian delegations to international fairs. For the 2007 edition of Cosmoprof (largest European cosmetic fair held in Bologna) Expolink requested Onemedit to promote the Egyptian delegation (6 companies) to buyers or potential industrial partners. During the event, 60 meetings were organised and assisted by Onemedit staff. Two companies succeeded in establishing preliminary negotiations with foreign international partners.  Bluexpo project, ‘‘floating’’ fair on the Mediterranean sea (Tunis October 2008) Onemedit received the mandate from the Turkish ADG Trade Fair, organizer of Bluexpo, a floating fair on the Mediterranean sea by ship, to promote this event in Tunisia during the stage in Tunis harbour “La Goulette” on 20 and 21 October 2008. Onemedit has organised and managed the media and telemarketing campaign. The event saw the participation of 1300 Tunisian enterprises and more than 1000 meeting between operators.  Agroexpo Eurasia 2008 (Turkey, November 2008) A delegation of 12 Italian companies representing different sub-sectors within the agro-mechanic main one was accompanied to the Turkish fair (Agroexpo Eurasia) held in Izmir. More than 60 b2b meetings have been organised aside of the event.  AGD - Arabian Group For Development (Egypt) Onemedit promotes and represents in Italy Interbuild Egypt, the event dedicated to the construction and building materials sectors in Egypt, organized by AGD, the Arabian Group for Development.  CNR Holding (Turkey) Onemedit represents CNR Holding in Italy, Egypt and Tunisia and promotes the event Subconist, the most important international event dedicated to subcontracting exhibition in Turkey.  Fiere di Parma - Cibus Tec (Parma, Italy) Fiere di Parma commissioned Onemedit to select a delegation of foreign buyers coming from Tunisia, Libya and Algeria invited for the 2009 edition of Cibus Tec, the event dedicated to food and processing technologies. Onemedit is in charge of the assistance to the delegation of entrepreneurs that will have B2B meetings with Italian expositors.  Fiere di Parma - Mercanteinfiera (Parma, Italy) Fiere di Parma commissioned Onemedit to select a delegation of foreign buyers coming from Turkey invited for the 2013 Autumn edition and 2014 Spring edition of Mercanteinfiera, the event dedicated to Antiques and Modern.
  • 8. 8  Rimini Fiere - SIAGuest (Rimini, Italy) At the 59th edition of SIAGuest, the leading event in Italy for hotel and hospitality sector, Onemedit selected and assisted a delegation of entrepreneurs coming from Egypt and Turkey. Onemedit assisted the foreign buyers in the course of the meetings with Italian exhibitors.  Rimini Fiere – Sigep (Rimini, Italy) For the 31st edition of Sigep, the international exhibition for Gelato, Pastry, Confectionery and Bakery, Onemedit selected a delegation of foreign buyers from Egypt, Algeria, Tunisia and Turkey. The delegation was assisted by Onemedit staff in the course of the visit to the exhibition and during the meetings with exhibitors.  Rimini Fiere – Sapore (Rimini, Italy) For the first edition of SAPORE (beverage, food and seafood for the Ho.Re.Ca. canne) that combines in a unique event six different expos (MIA, Frigus, Oro Giallo, MSE, DiVino Lounge and Pianeta Birra Beverage & Co), Onemedit selected and assisted in the course of btob meetings with exhibitors a delegation of foreign buyers from Egypt and Turkey.  Promotec – Autopromotec (Bologna, Italy) Edition 2011 Autopromotec is the most specialized exhibition in the world for the assistance to the automotive industry and is a benchmark of the international automotive aftermarket. In Onemedit is Promtoec delegate for Turkey and Egypt markets and for 2011 edition it realized the following activities: promotion of Autopromotec in Egypt and Turkey, Press Conference in Istanbul, Selection and assistance of delegation of buyers from Turkey and Egypt. Edition 2013 In preparation to the edition 2013 of Autopromotec Onemedit has been asked to realize a road show in Turkey (Bursa, Konya, Izmir) in order to present to potential Turkish exhibitors the offer of Promotec event and to edit an updated report about the automotive sector in Turkey.  Ipack Ima Spa – Ipack Ima (Milano, Italy) IPACK-IMA is one of the most important international events in the industry of packaging, processing and material handling technology. Onemedit is Ipack Ima agent and delegate for Turkish market. Onemedit has been asked to realize the following activities: Promotion of Ipack Ima towards Turkish companies attending Interpack Dusseldorf 2011. Sell of exhibition area for 2012 edition of Ipack Ima and selection of a delegation of Turkish buyers.  Ipack Ima Spa – Pharmintech (Bologna, Italy) PHARMINTECH is one of the exhibition for the pharmaceutical, nutraceutical and personal care industry (Aprile 2013, Bologna). Onemedit has been asked to realize the following activities: Promotion of Pharmintech towards Turkish companies and selection of a delegation of Turkish buyers.
  • 9. 9  Exposanità 2012 – Senaf Srl (Italy, Bologna) Turkey has been invited as a ‘Guest of Honor’ at the XVIII Exposanità, International Health Care Exhibition, taking place in BolognaFiere Exhibition Center May 16th - 19th . The fair organizer, Senaf Srl, asked Onemedit to realize the following activities: - to write a report about Health care sector in Turkey focused on the opportunity for foreign companies to enter the market - to select and invite to Exposanità some institutional representatives of the Minister of Health to take part in the round table “Health management: old and new universalistic health services challenges”. Projects for groups of companies  BtoB meetings in Algeria (hydro and environment sector) Promoted by Ceipiemonte (Agency for Investments, Export and Tourism of the Piemonte Region), the project contents are: check up and swot analysis of Italian SMEs projects on Algerian market, promotion and selection of counterparts in Algeria, organization of meetings and visits to potential partners in Algeria.  BtoB meetings in Algeria (building and construction materials sector) Promoted by the Chamber of Commerce of Pordenone, Pordenone Export and Industrial Association of Pordenonethe project contents are: check up and swot analysis of Italian SMEs projects on Algerian market, promotion and selection of counterparts in Algeria, organization of meetings and visits to potential partners in Algeria.  BtoB meetings and Study Tours (outdoor ornamental plants sector) in Italy In the framework of the European Project “Development & Investment Strategy for Outdoors Ornamental Plants Sector” that involves Turkey, Holland, Italy and Spain operators of outdoor ornamental plants sector, Onemedit coordinated the organization of the study tour in Italy (Mantova, Pistoia, Messina).  BtoB meetings in Turkey Co-sponsored by Emilia Romagna Region and co-organized with Emilia Romagna Industrial Association, the project contents are: check up and swot analysis of Italian SMEs projects on Turkish market, promotion and selection of counterparts in Turkey, organization of meetings and visits to potential parterns in Turkey. The project will be replied in 2012.  BtoB meetings (agro-industry, agriculture, mechanic sector) in Italy Co-Sponsored and organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Ravenna (Italy) the project aimed at promoting Italian SMEs of Emilia Romagna Region in Turkey and Sirya and realized a session of BtoB meetings and visits in February 2011. Onemedit was responsible of the activities in Syria.  Project in Egypt and Libya promoted by the Italian Region Emilia Romagna The region Emilia-Romagna commissioned Onemedit to provide assistance to the small and medium enterprises of its territory belonging to the sectors living – building (home furniture and equipments, building-construction industry) willing to operate in Libya and Egypt.
  • 10. 10  Italian companies participating to Interbuild Egypt The region Emilia Romagna commissioned Onemedit to accompany a selected group of companies belonging to the sector living – building (home furniture and equipments, building-construction industry) to participate to the fair Interbuild Egypt, the event dedicated to the construction and building materials sectors in Egypt, organized by AGD, the Arabian Group for Development.  Onemedit network is the Mediterranean desk for Unioncamere Emilia Romagna Emilia Romagna Chambers of Commerce Union charged Onemedit with formulating a convention proposal for the service of Mediterranean desk in Algeria, Tunisia and Egypt. The Italian provinces that will be involved in the convention are: Ravenna, Ferrara, Forlì-Cesena, Rimini and Bologna.  Analysis of market opportunities, consulting services and organization of business visit in Egypt and Lybia (Emilia-Romagna Region, Italy) Onemedit srl together with Roncucci&Partners srk bid and won a contract issued by the Emilia-Romagna region meant to provide to regional SMEs assistance and consulting in their approach to Egypt and Libya markets. The activities in program are: country presentation about Egypt and Libya opportunities in the sectors of construction and home-sector; promotion and partners research for each company that will take part to the project; organization of a business mission in Egypt and Libya.  Country presentation, consulting service about internationalization and research of foreign partners in North Africa (COFIMP, Italy) In the framework of the project “North Africa” aimed at assisting SME to approach new foreign markets, Onemedit was asked to realize the following activities: country presentation about specific industrial sectors in Tunisia and Egypt; consulting service for each single company participating to the project; promotion of the company profile in Egypt/Tunisia and organization of btob meetings with potential partners.  Organization of business meetings in Tunisia with 25 Turkish companies (mechanic sector) The project was co-financed by Turkish government and realized by Onemedit in partnership with a Turkish consulting company. Onemedit Tunisia organized the business visit in Tunis scheduled from 16th to 18th November 2009. The 25 Turkish companies were specialized in the mechanics sector and met 80 Tunisian counterparts.  Promotion activity (Trentino Sprint, Italy) Trentino Sprint (Special agency belonging to the Chamber of Commerce of Trento, Italy), asked Onemedit to promote the company profiles of Trentino companies, specialized in the production and processing of stone and marble, in the following markets: Egypt, Tunisia, Lebanon, Jordan, Syria, Algeria, Libya and Morocco.  Country presentation and business visit abroad (Ravenna Chamber of Commerce, Italy) In the sphere of the project “Southern Turkey 2009-2010” of the Chamber of Commerce of Ravenna, Onemedit was asked to collaborate for the realization of the following activities: Turkey country presentation; personalized consulting service for each company that apply to the project; preparation of the mission of companies in Turkey. The target sectors of the projects are: agro-industry, food processing, agro mechanics, construction and home-sector (furnishing, interiors, linen, house-keeping equipments.
  • 11. 11  Country presentation, consulting services and business mission in Egypt/Tunisia (Mantua Chamber of Commerce, Italy) Promoimpresa, the Special Agency for the Chamber of Commerce of Mantua asked Onemedit to realize two seminars about Egyptian and Tunisian markets opportunities to be addressed to companies belonging to agro-food, gardening, construction, furniture and home sectors. The seminars are part of the “Mediterranean project” promoted by the Chamber that provides to the associated companies consulting services through Onemedit and the organization of a business mission in Tunisia/Egypt.  Assistance to business delegation in Turkey (Izmir, Turkey November 2007) Onemedit was asked by Promoimpresa, the Special Agency for the Chamber of Commerce of Mantua, to plan a business visit for a delegation of 9 Italian companies from 5th to 9th November 2007 in Izmir, Turkey.  UNIDO study tour for a Turkish delegation (Northern Italy September 2008) In a project aimed at removing methyl bromide from table tomatoes cultivation, the United Nations Organization for the Industrial Development (UNIDO), asked Onemedit the realization of a Study Tour for a group of Turkish governmental representatives coming from Antalya. Italian operators explained visitors technical and commercial implications connected to the adoption of cleaner alternatives.  Analysis of market opportunities and preparation of a business visit to the Turkish market (mechanical and agro-industry sectors) November 2008 Onemedit srl and Economisti Associati srl bid and won a 15-months contract issued by the Emilia-Romagna region meant to provide to regional SMEs assistance and consulting in their approach to the Turkish market. The project has already involved 75 companies and will be completed by the end of February 2009.  Agriculture Marketing Study (Egypt) Onemedit won a limited tender for consultancy for a Agriculture Marketing Study, which aimed to provide Egyptian small and medium sized farmers from the governorates of Fayoum, Sohag e Qena with useful guidelines to improve their business in the national and international markets.  Market research and training for textile consortium from Puglia region to better operate in Russian and Arabic markets An Italian consortium for the textile and clothing industries asked Onemedit to produce a market analysis aimed at specific foreign markets (Russia and Emirates) and to provide training to Italian entrepreneurs in the field of international activities project.
  • 12. 12 Projects for single companies  Export development (software sector) An Italian software house asked Onemedit to find an Egyptian partner capable of adapting and commercialise its software for agro-food industry traceability to Egyptian customers. Onemedit’s role was to select the appropriate partner with the specific technical and commercial competences needed for the translation, sale and technical assistance of the tool. Onemedit selected the ideal counterpart and assisted the companies during the agreement definition. Today the “Arabic” software is being commercialised in Egypt.  Export development (Shoes) An Italian company specialized in the production of average-high quality women shoes and sporting unisex shoes, wants to open new markets in Tunisia, Egypt and Turkey. The firm wants to meet new clients who have expertise in imported European shoes and are located in the most dynamic commercial centres. Onemedit is promoting the project through local operators willing to commercialize Made in Italy shoes in their markets.  Export development (Fresh and canned fruits) An Egyptian company active in producing fresh and canned fruits has planned its expansion in the European market. By request of the company, Onemedit is presently preparing and implementing a two-year strategic approach to the Italian market which includes promotional activities, research and selection of commercial and industrial partners.  Import development (fruits and vegetable sector) In order to offer a wider range of fresh products in the European market, an Italian entrepreneur wanted to establish a long-lasting collaboration with an Egyptian supplier for his outlet. Onemedit’s role was to select the suppliers, assist the client company during the definition of an annual purchase programme and solve all the logistic problems linked to the shipping transport. Four Egyptian companies became suppliers for the Italian buyer.  Export development (fruit and vegetable sector) A fast growing Egyptian company specialised in artichokes production was wishing to increase the volume of its exports and asked Onemedit to select the best Italian companies which were interested in the Egyptian products and for a proper partnership. Forty four suppliers have been identified. The assistance provided by Onemedit allowed this company to begin export with two new clients.  Joint ventures (Lubricants) Two companies, one Italian and one Egyptian, are establishing a joint venture in Egypt to produce lubricants for automobiles and machineries. Target markets of the JV are neighbouring North African countries. The Italian company has requested the support of Onemedit to define the strategic approach for the agreement and related negotiations. Onemedit has developed for the company a 1-year project which is under implementation.  International partnership (Natural tourism) A Tunisian club specialized in horses rental and horses tours called Centre d’Animation Equestre Belvédère de Tunis (C.A.E.T.B.), contacted the Italian National Body for Horses guides (E.N.G.E.A.) in order to test and
  • 13. 13 certify a Tunisian horses-route which will be included in a holiday proposal for the European, American and Japanese market. In order to guarantee the fulfilment of the project and to facilitate the communication between the parties, the Tunisian operator has asked Onemedit to follow the communication process and provide linguistic assistance before and during the implementation of the horse-tour in Tunisia. The first group of foreign tourists as already taken a 1-week tour across Tunisia.  Transfer of technology from Italy to North Africa (ceramics sector) Onemedit’s role was to search for an industrial partner for an Italian company wishing to transfer its productive facility and know-how to a suitable market. The research was focused on the Mediterranean area and in particular, Tunisia, which offers favourable economic and market conditions for their company. The project successfully selected a Tunisian entrepreneur who visited the Italian Company and discussed a collaboration scheme. Both parties showed their interest and willingness to establish an Italian-Tunisian Joint Venture. A business plan is under construction.  Foreign investment (agriculture sector) An Egyptian producer of the fruit and vegetables who was looking to sell at least 50% of its company, asked Onemedit to look for an investor (preferably Italian) already operating in the international relevant market. Onemedit’s role was to select one or more entrepreneurs interested in the proposal. After evaluating the business project, Onemedit found a potential partner. A one-year co-operation is currently being undertaken between the two partners in order to gather information and experience so to finalise a permanent partnership.  Foreign desk for German multinational (metal finishing and marble sectors) The Italian branch of a German multinational which responsible for the group's commercial activity in the Mediterranean area, requested Onemedit Egypt for two years of support in the local market. Onemedit is expected to support the group by selecting its national agents and distributors and to establish a fruitful cooperation with Egyptian public institutions. Five potential Egyptian agents have been interviewed and two received a cooperation proposal from the multinational group. Negotiations are ongoing.  Export development (rolling shutters sector) An Italian company which is a leader in the production of rolling shutter accessories and exports its products all over the world has expressed an interest in entering the Egyptian market. Onemedit's mandate consists of searching for Egyptian manufacturers of industrial rolling shutters, selecting one or more distributors and organizing an agenda of B2B meetings in Egypt between the Italian company and the potential partners in Egypt.  Export development (cosmetic sector) An Italian company which produces and commercializes hair products asked Onemedit to select new potential clients in Tunisia. Onemedit's activities include: the preparation of a market survey for the target sector, preparation of promotional material in French, promoting the company in Tunisia and studying the best marketing strategy for the Tunisian market.  Selection of suppliers and assistance in defining a foreign market strategy On behalf of a manufacturing company specialized in household sector (gas), Onemedit has selected some Chinese suppliers, evaluated their productive capacity, and assisted the company in the organization of a purchasing plan for semi-finished products to be completed in Italy and sold in Europe. In this respect, Onemedit has planned a foreign product marketing strategy.
  • 14. 14  Registration of a foreign branch (water treatment sector) An Italian company specialized in the production of industrial water treatment plants wants to register an branch office in Turkey aimed at importing, installing and providing technical assistance for purification plants. The company asked Onemedit for assistance and consultancy about legal and administrative aspects linked to the company's registration procedures and the importation plants in Turkey.  Registration of foreign branches (hinges for household) An Italian company specialized in the production of hinges for household asked Onemedit to be assisted for the registration of two branches in Egypt and Tunisia. In particular the company need Onemedit support for the following activities: - to individuate the best location for the future productive plants; - consultancy about all the legal aspects concerning the registration of the local society: - logistic and linguistic assistance in the course of the several meetings that the company will do in Egypt and Tunisia.  Direct investment in Tunisia An Italian enterprise specialized in the soil less production of tomato (hydroponics) decided to invest in Tunisia asking Onemedit assistance in these activities: research of partner, negotiation, fund raising. The company, whose project amounts 10 M €, is closing the negotiation with three partners.  Selection of suppliers and assistance in defining a foreign market strategy (construction sector) An Italian trading company that supply bitumen to the construction industry asked Onemedit to find and select in Egypt bitumen suppliers because of the lack of product on the national market.  Producing and commercial partnership (fruit sector) An Italian company leader in Italy in the melon production willing to guarantee the availability of product all long the year asked Onemedit to be assisted on the Tunisian market for the research and selection of a production partner. Projects for International organizations  Global Investment Promotion Benchmarking 2012: Development of a Regional Report for the Middle East and North Africa Region – World Bank Onemedit, in association with another consultancy firm, provides consultancy for a study on investment promotion agencies in 19 North African and Middle Eastern countries, with identification of best practices in handling investment inquiries.
  • 15. 15 Universities, Business schools, training and stages Onemedit has provided training courses for post-degree masters programs for  PROMOS (Milan Chamber of commerce) In the framework of the Course Master “Business Focus Mediterranean and Middle East”, Onemedit has been asked to take part as teacher for two lessons of the Master.  STOÀ (Istituto di Studi per la Direzione e Gestione di Impresa - Naples) According to the agreement, Onemedit hosted in its bureaus located in Italy, Egypt, and Tunisia, some students attending the Master's in Local Development (MDL) organized by STOA’. This program aims to create new professionals who are able to project, promote and manage local and international development projects. In addition, four students attending the Master's in International Development organized, by STOA’, undertook a 3-months internship at Onemedit’s offices in order to acquire competences and new skills about SMEs development at a international level.  ISUFI (Italy) Onemedit collaborates with the Italian Institute of High Training, ISUFI, within the Master of Euro Mediterranean School of Law and Politics teaching Management of Internationalization Projects.  Tender scouting in North Africa (IFOA, Italy) IFOA, Training Center of the Chambers of Commerce, commissioned Onemedit to scout tenders and collaboration opportunities with local public entities in North Africa in the field of professional education and training.
