COMPANY BACKGROUND
NELEDZI Services (PTY) Ltd was established in 1998. NELEDZI is a Venda word
meaning a Star.
Our Motto is “Mintirho ya vulavula” (action speaks louder than words)
The company’s core business is the provision of industrial and commercial cleaning
services and related products to our valued clients in the Gauteng Province. Our
offices are situated in Edenvale north east of Johannesburg.
NELEDZI is 100 % owned and 100% directly Managed by previously
disadvantaged individuals and has, with a wealth of knowledge and management
experience in the cleaning industry. Management of Neledzi understands the word
transformation as all of them started at the bottom and worked themselves through
the ranks to gain the knowledge and implement it to our clients.

BLACK EMPOWERMENT POLICY
NELEDZI is an empowerment company with 100% black ownership; our main
objective is job creation and meaningful participation of PDI’s in the mainstream
economy.
• Employment strategy
Neledzi will employ previously disadvantaged men, women including the disabled
persons with various skills and experience to strategic positions as the company
grows. This will be done in line with the employment equity act.
• Training and Development
We are contributing to the skills development fund, which enables us to up-skill
our employees through various training programmes. Our training programmes
assist new entrants with potential to be developed into managerial positions
within the company.
Our development programmes involves internal and external training courses.
• SMME empowerment policy
We ensure that we give first preference to the SMME’s for most products and
services required for our company in the interest of the broad based black
economic empowerment.

Neledzi Cleaning:
Neledzi offers a Contractual Cleaning Service to the following sectors:
• Retail
• Hospitality

Hygiene & Deep Cleaning:
Neledzi supplies a complete range of hygiene equipment in a white classic finish or
Stainless Steel. We take accountability for what we supply thus giving you, the
customer a 5 year guarantee on our equipment. Neledzi also offers a deep cleaning
service of restrooms to our clients.
Pest Control:
Neledzi Pest control supplies a complete preventative pest control treatment service
plan where we treat pests such as rodents & mice, biting insects, ants, cockroaches
& flies.
Garden Services:
Neledzi Gardens specialise in basic garden services and weed control. A
supervised garden services team will be deployed on site and carry out the garden
services duties as agreed with each individual customer.
Specialised Division:
This division is involved in various cleaning services and specialises in pre
occupational cleans, builder’s clean up, relocation clean ups, annual “spring” cleans,
events cleaning, domestic cleaning. This division is also responsible for specialised
floor care such as carpet deep cleaning, stripping and sealing of floors and
restoration of floors. High level window cleaning and kitchen deep cleaning are other
services that this division also specialises in.
EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT PROFILE
EDUCATION:
Completed Matric in 1980, obtained a Diploma in Business Management from
Damelin in 1986, a Certificate in Human Resources Management (HRMP) from IPM
(Institute of People Management) in 1993, completed a Certificate in Executive
Development Programme with the University of Stellenbosch Business School in
2008, Financial Management at Wits Business School in 2010, He also completed
various other certificate courses in Industrial Relations and Management, and also
an SBDC Entrepreneurial skills course.

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
CAREER HISTORY:
He started his career in the hospitality industry in 1984, covering all aspects of Hotel
Management for over ten years. In 1995 he joined a well known cleaning services
company until 1998 when he started his own cleaning company, Neledzi Cleaning
Services (Pty) Ltd.

EDUCATION:
Completed matric in 1990, obtained a Diploma in Hotel Management with Hospitality
Industrial Training Board of South Africa in 1996, completed Financial Management
with Wits Business School in 2010 and successfully completed Certificate in
Leadership Training for Managers with Dale Carnegie in 2010.
He also completed various other certificate courses in Labour Relations and
Management.
Career History:
Simon started his career in the Hospitality Industry in 1991 as a cleaner, and worked
himself up the ranks until he became a Manager in 1994, he specialized in Food &

Beverage Management for over 11 years, He joined Neledzi Cleaning Services as
Operations Manager on the 01st
February 2006.He moved to sales division as Sales
Manager in 2007 until February 2009. In 2009 - 2011 he was then appointed as Sales
& Marketing Manager. In March 2011 he was appointed as the General Manager
until July 2014, in August 2014 Simon was then appointed to the position of
Executive Director: Business Development of Neledzi Cleaning Services (Pty) Ltd.

EDUCATION:
Busisiwe completed matric in 2004, obtained a Diploma in Marketing with the
University of Johannesburg (UJ) in 2009, obtained a Certificate in Business

School in 2012 and successfully completed Directorship courses part 1-3 with the
Institute of Directors of Southern Africa (IODSA)

BUSISIWE MAKHUBELA – SOUTH AFRICAN CITIZEN
MARKETING DIRECTOR
Busisiwe started her career as In-store promoter in 2007 – 2008 with The Creative
counsel, she then joined a well-known retail store as an intern for 6 months before
joining Office Habitat as an Administrator in 2010. She is currently the Managing
Member of Office Habitat since November 2010, in August 2014 she was then
appointed Marketing Director of Neledzi Cleaning Services (Pty) Ltd.

A complete site analysis will be done and provided to you with a customised cleaning
solution that will be mutually beneficial for both parties ensuring that you concentrate
on your core business and we supply the maximum benefit and support from a
cleaning, safety and hygiene perspective.
We do not have customers but business partners as clients.
Suitable staff will be carefully selected to ensure that staff fit into the customer’s
environment.
The in-house training programme involves induction, code of conduct and on job
training, we also provide the cleaners with additional customer care training and
communication skills to ensure the customer has a pleasant experience when
dealing with Neledzi staff. Neledzi trains its staff to meet the contract cleaning

industries high standards according to the new National Qualification Frameworks
minimum standards for cleaning services.
We provide our cleaning staff with new and neat uniforms that includes shoes and
jerseys. New cleaning equipment is provided on site that is in workable conditions at
all times. Equipment is carefully selected to ensure that we produce the maximum
result with equipment at hand. All equipment is maintained and service at regular
intervals.
We supply all chemicals and cleaning consumables on site and ensure that all
chemicals are used according to NCCA standards. Our suppliers are involved in the
chemical training to cleaners on all sites on an ongoing basis. Our chemicals are
also randomly tested to ensure high product standards.
As a company we see to the management of staff by handling Industrial Relations,
Staff employment, statutory obligations, Absenteeism, on leave replacement,
Supervision.

cleaning Industry with over sixteen years of experience as a service provider.
• Neledzi currently employs over 1800 cleaners nationally.
