The Canadian Football League (CFL) is a professional sports league consisting of 9 teams located in Canada. The CFL was formally established in 1958 and teams play an 18 game regular season from June to October. The Grey Cup acts as the championship trophy awarded to the winning team following the playoffs and championship game in November each year. The most recent champions are the Calgary Stampeders.

each division has an automatic home berth in the division
final, along with a bye week during the division semifinal

the 1st place team in the division finals
• When playoffs conclude, the two division champions battle
each other in the Championships called the Grey Cup game
