Each student will evaluate a current health program focused on promotion or disease prevention using criteria to understand how it addresses social and health problems. Students must investigate historical, social, economic, and political factors leading to the program's development and implementation. The evaluation will assess the extent and severity of the problem, monitor outcomes to determine if the program resulted in desired change, and document outcomes for sustainability. Students will be graded on a 10-slide PowerPoint presentation covering these areas in APA format.
