Jessie Beyer discusses her experience starting a blog and learning Photoshop. At first, she struggled to find topics for her blog but has since gotten into a groove. She enjoys using her blog as a way to share ideas with others, similar to keeping a journal. For her blog layout, Jessie chose a simple design with light orange and yellow shades. Photoshop was also new for her to learn, and she found the layer feature and editing her puppy photo to be interesting aspects to explore. Overall, Jessie feels learning these new tools of blogging and Photoshop will prove useful skills for the future.

2. My Blog
 I’ve never had a blog before so this is something that is totally
new and different for me
 At first it was hard for me to think of a topic to blog about but
now that I have gotten into the swing of things it is much easier

 I think that blogging is a great way to get your ideas
down and to get them out there into the world
 I have never really been one to keep a journal but I
think that keeping a blog is a great way to keep a sort
of journal that can been fun to keep up and keep
sharing with people

 Deciding on the layout of my blog wasn’t very hard for
me because I just wanted one that would be easy to
look at
 I picked my background and setup to be something
that I wanted to be easy to use and to look at all the
time and used very light shades of orange and yellow
to give it a relaxed look

5. Photoshop
Photoshop was also something
that I had never used so again this was brand new to
me
 I thought it was interesting to learn about it and all the
ways we could edit our photos

6. Photoshop
 I really liked the layer feature so that we could quickly
see what it might look like without one of the edits we
made
My favorite picture I worked on was the picture of my
puppy
 I liked working with this picture because there were a
lot of different colors and aspects that I could play
with and touch up through photoshop

7. My Blog & Photos
 I already had pictures with most of my posts that I had
just found and thought were relevant but I liked
putting my own pictures up because it made it seem
more personal and I feel like it adds some sort of
connection between myself and my blog

8. My Experience
Overall I think this has been a good experience for me
learning about these new tools
 I think I will definitely be able to use the skills that I’m
learning in the future since these are so big in todays
world.
