How the project Charter is the most important document to any Project manager. This presentation will guide you through the necessary sections and items to include in any Project Charter in order to be a powerful "one step / One site" tool for the entire project Team to use as reference to confirm on what project areas to accomplish or operate was agreed upon as a team - so there will not be any confusion or vagueness.

What is project? Software Project Vs. Other Types. Activities by
Software Project Mgt. Plans, Methods and Methodologies. Problems with Software Projects.
There are many challenges that are faced by the business world today on how to manage your business goals and strategies in a market that is both dynamic and moves very quickly. Within both the technology and business sectors change is constant and the question that one asks is how do you manage this effectively. This presentation shows how a digital project may be managed
The way how we help customers at ASPgems to do their software development projects in order to better accomplish their business objective in the Digital World.
A Proven Software Development Process for the Non Technical FounderFounders Workshop
Are you a non-technical founder with a great software idea? Ready to take the plunge but want the “secret” to successfully managing software development? Well, it's not a "secret" at all - it's a disciplined methodology we are going to share with you. This presentation is designed to provide entrepreneurs with a blueprint for successful software development and technology implementation.
The unfortunate reality is that quality software development and technology implementation is not readily available to most startups and small business entrepreneurs. Great entrepreneurs are met with small thinkers when searching for a development team via online freelancer sites, or the recommendation of a friend’s cousin who may code on weekends. Or they are faced with development companies that impose business models that do not align with the entrepreneurial spirit.

Techniques to optimize the pagerank algorithm usually fall in two categories. One is to try reducing the work per iteration, and the other is to try reducing the number of iterations. These goals are often at odds with one another. Skipping computation on vertices which have already converged has the potential to save iteration time. Skipping in-identical vertices, with the same in-links, helps reduce duplicate computations and thus could help reduce iteration time. Road networks often have chains which can be short-circuited before pagerank computation to improve performance. Final ranks of chain nodes can be easily calculated. This could reduce both the iteration time, and the number of iterations. If a graph has no dangling nodes, pagerank of each strongly connected component can be computed in topological order. This could help reduce the iteration time, no. of iterations, and also enable multi-iteration concurrency in pagerank computation. The combination of all of the above methods is the STICD algorithm. [sticd] For dynamic graphs, unchanged components whose ranks are unaffected can be skipped altogether.
Adjusting OpenMP PageRank : SHORT REPORT / NOTESSubhajit Sahu
For massive graphs that fit in RAM, but not in GPU memory, it is possible to take
advantage of a shared memory system with multiple CPUs, each with multiple cores, to
accelerate pagerank computation. If the NUMA architecture of the system is properly taken
into account with good vertex partitioning, the speedup can be significant. To take steps in
this direction, experiments are conducted to implement pagerank in OpenMP using two
different approaches, uniform and hybrid. The uniform approach runs all primitives required
for pagerank in OpenMP mode (with multiple threads). On the other hand, the hybrid
approach runs certain primitives in sequential mode (i.e., sumAt, multiply).
Data Centers - Striving Within A Narrow Range - Research Report - MCG - May 2...pchutichetpong
M Capital Group (“MCG”) expects to see demand and the changing evolution of supply, facilitated through institutional investment rotation out of offices and into work from home (“WFH”), while the ever-expanding need for data storage as global internet usage expands, with experts predicting 5.3 billion users by 2023. These market factors will be underpinned by technological changes, such as progressing cloud services and edge sites, allowing the industry to see strong expected annual growth of 13% over the next 4 years.
Whilst competitive headwinds remain, represented through the recent second bankruptcy filing of Sungard, which blames “COVID-19 and other macroeconomic trends including delayed customer spending decisions, insourcing and reductions in IT spending, energy inflation and reduction in demand for certain services”, the industry has seen key adjustments, where MCG believes that engineering cost management and technological innovation will be paramount to success.
MCG reports that the more favorable market conditions expected over the next few years, helped by the winding down of pandemic restrictions and a hybrid working environment will be driving market momentum forward. The continuous injection of capital by alternative investment firms, as well as the growing infrastructural investment from cloud service providers and social media companies, whose revenues are expected to grow over 3.6x larger by value in 2026, will likely help propel center provision and innovation. These factors paint a promising picture for the industry players that offset rising input costs and adapt to new technologies.
According to M Capital Group: “Specifically, the long-term cost-saving opportunities available from the rise of remote managing will likely aid value growth for the industry. Through margin optimization and further availability of capital for reinvestment, strong players will maintain their competitive foothold, while weaker players exit the market to balance supply and demand.”

3. My Role as an
IT Project Coordinator at
Colt Technologies
• To ensure clients’ needs are met as projects
evolve.
• Analyze risks and opportunities and act as
the point of contact and communication.
• Monitors progress and resolves any issues
that arise during the project.
• Issue appropriate paperwork and create
and maintain comprehensive project
documentation, plans, and reports.
4. ABOUT THE
PROJECT
IT application development
workstream of a 1 million euro project
is critical to complete integration of a
company that Colt recently acquired.
5. PROBLEM
STATEMENT
The IT development phase of the project had
been due to complete on schedule in 8 weeks’
time, to then be followed by a period of testing
and a production go-live. Unfortunately, a
design issue that will take 10 weeks to resolve
has now been identified.
A major cost and reputational impact will be
seen if the work is not completed on time.
6. SOLUTION
Scope Creep
•Clearly define project requirements and goals.
•Create a schedule that includes every step of the
process.
•Involve clients or stakeholders in project planning.
Strong Communication
•Giving frequent feedback concerning employee
performance
•Doing team-building activities to improve relationships
and communication between team members
•Being transparent about project progress
Devise and Communicate Clear
Project Goals
•Meeting with your team to define and discuss the
goals
•Using project planning software to specify goals and
each team member's role in achieving them
•Identifying ways to monitor progress, such as with
milestones
7. SOLUTION
Scheduling Conflicts
•Coordinating your project schedule and needs
with other project managers
•Checking team members' vacation and time-off
schedules to avoid unexpected absences
•Using an online calendar planner to organize
multiple projects and their resources
simultaneously
Stakeholder Engagement
• Involve stakeholders in the project planning process.
•Communicate with stakeholders frequently, and give them
regular project updates.
•Directly ask clients for their feedback on every project
phase.
Avoid Budgeting Issues
•Plan your budget ahead of time, using realistic estimates.
•Review similar projects to compare their budgets to yours.
•Get advice from experts, such as software developers or quality
assurance specialists, who are familiar with cost and time
estimates for your type of project.
8. BENEFITS
On successful completion of the
project, the company’s reputation will
be maintained and hence will increase
the market value of the company
among the competitors.
9. CONCLUSION
Reiteration of the critical importance of the
project and the need for urgency in resolving
the issue and getting the project back on track
and updates from the IT application
development workstream going forward.
