Ethnic Origin is the 2011 NHS Ethnic origin question asked: ‘What were the ethnic or cultural origins of [your] ancestors?’ People could respond with more than one answer.
Census Family refers to a married couple (with or without children), a common-law couple (with or without children) or a lone parent family.
Economic Family refers to a group of two or more persons who live in the same dwelling and are related to each other by blood, marriage, common-law, adoption or a foster relationship.
Participation Rate refers to the people who are working or actively looking for work. This doesn’t include people who volunteer, work in religion, etc.
Low Income is the percentage with income below the after tax Low Income Measure threshold.
Housing that is not Suitable - Not enough bedrooms for the size and composition of the family as determined by CMHC standards.
