A blind taste test was conducted with 20 middle-aged adults to determine if Coke or Pepsi was preferred. Participants were given samples of Coke and Pepsi labeled A and B and asked questions about flavor, sweetness, carbonation, and smoothness. Coke was preferred for having better flavor, being sweeter, and more carbonated, while Pepsi was preferred for being smoother. When asked outright which cola they liked better, 12 participants preferred Coke to Pepsi's 8. The study concluded that Coke was the preferred cola over Pepsi among this test group.
