Coffeescript is a programming language that compiles to JavaScript. It was created in 2009 by Jeremy Ashkenas and has since gained many contributors and releases. This document provides an overview of Coffeescript's history and syntax, how to install and use it, and some examples of functions, objects, arrays, conditionals, classes and other language features.
