This document discusses different types of coding and decoding questions that commonly appear on banking and law entrance exams. It outlines six types of coding questions and focuses on symbol coding and decoding. For symbol coding, symbols are assigned to letters or vice versa. An example problem is given where certain words are written with symbols and the candidate must write another word using that code. For decoding, code values are assigned to words and the candidate must determine the original word. Two example decoding problems are provided.
