Spain has got a variety of climate zones influenced by differences in:
• Latitude: there is a temperate zone and a tropic zone (Canary Islands).
• Distance from bodies of water: coastal regions (milder temperatures) and inland regions (more extreme temperatures)
• Altitude: mountain regions (lower temperatures) and lowland regions (warmer temperatures).
