ClassWish.org is a nonprofit that provides teachers with classroom resources by allowing them to create wish lists for supplies. Visitors can make tax-deductible donations to support specific teacher's lists. The donations fund the requested resources, with only a small fee taken out. The organization also has a referral program that rewards representatives for promoting ClassWish to other teachers.

5. We Feel Your Pain
“Many California teachers are scrambling to find
fresh ways to thriftily educate their students and
maintain their physically crumbling classrooms.”
They now spend $1,500 a year of their own money
to keep their classrooms afloat.
"I always ask business owners if they have pens
with their logo on them so that I can distribute
them to the students," says Nosanov Goldman,
who has been teaching for 22 years. "I've never
had to beg like this."
6. • Teachers easily create Wish Lists.
• Visitors (parents, grandparents,

less only a discounted credit card
processing fee (just 2.2% and 30
cents) is credited to the teacher’s
wish list account.
• More than 16,000 companies
match employees’ donations,
which can double their funding.
