6. Transforma1on
from
Sheet
to
Cap
• The
aluminum
coil
is
straightened
and
cut
into
sheets
of
different
sizes,
as
per
requirement.
• Aluminum
sheets
of
thickness
.19,
.21,
.23,
.26
mm
are
used
to
make
caps.
• .19
mm
sheets
are
usually
used
to
make
small
and
shallow
caps.
• .21
and
above
dimension
sheets
are
usually
used
to
make
deep
caps.
8. • MTO
washing
is
done
on
both
sides,
to
clean
the
sheet
from
any
previous
oil
stains
and
other
impuri1es.
The
sheet
is
passed
through
oven
at
1750
C
for
12
minutes,
to
complete
the
process.

9. • Lacquering
is
done
to
the
side
where
inside
content
will
be
in
contact.
This
creates
a
layer
doesn’t
allow
content
to
react
with
aluminum.
The
sheet
is
passed
through
oven
again
at
a
temperature
of
175
0C
for
12
minutes,
to
strengthen
the
lacquer
layer.
• Sizing
of
aluminum
sheet
is
done
on
the
printable
side,
to
prepare
the
sheet
for
prin1ng
and
to
ensure
that
the
inks
and
coa1ng
adhere
with
the
sheet.
The
sheet
is
then
passed
through
the
oven
at
2100
C
temperature,
for
12
minutes.
10. • Coa<ng
is
done
as
per
requirement
on
the
surface
that
will
get
printed.
The
sheet
is
then
dried
at
a
temperature
of
1750
C
for
12
minutes,
to
get
the
effect.
• The
sized
side
of
the
sheet
is
then
printed
using
an
offset
prin<ng
machine.
It
is
then
dried
in
an
oven
at
1750
C
for
12
minutes.
11. Sheets

• The
printed
side
of
the
sheets
are
then
varnished
and
dried
in
the
oven
at
required
temperature.

moved

punching
department,
where

through
